  1. Good morning,

I am flying from U-Tapao to Phuket next week and was just wondering if there is a bus service from Pattaya to U-Tapao?

    Thanks,

    Graham

You could catch a bus on Sukhumvit road to Rayong, but take more than enough time into consideration. She is stopping at every corner. I would count on not less than 2 hrs drive.

    :)

  2. Going regularly from Bkk to Hat Mae Ramphung, one of the beaches near Rayong. To be more precise between Rayong and Ban Phe. Very very calm beach, which is loved by the locals during week-ends. Count approx 3 hrs from Bkk to Hat Mae Ramphung - unless you plan to go on a saturday, then it will take you much longer. You can also take the bus at Ekamai to Rayong and from Rayong take a litte "taxibus" to Hat Mae Ramphung (light blue bus).

    :)

Plenty of accomodation .... meeting your criteria ... visit some places out and make your decision afterwards

  3. Wow GungaDin, you got a cheap rate. My last trip home I was over weight and they charged me 600 baht per kilo.

Cloud96, it all depends on how fast you want the stuff. If you can wait for it you can ship by a shipping company, they will do what is called break bulk, which it's put in a container with other stuff. Not sure of the cost as I have only been shipping full containers to the US ($4500 for a 40' to Boston) PM me and I can give you a shipping company to use. If you can get everything to be only 1sq meter then it should not be more than $60 USD. I would offer to put it into my next container, but we do everything we can to get as much as possible into a container.

:) Would like to correct the above a little bit

Never ask for a price in breakbulk, unless you know the shipping company very good and they understand clearly your requirements.

Breakbulk shipments are never going into a container. The merchandise/goods are just put on board of the vessel.

If you are working for the first time with a shipping company and you want to arrange a shipment in container, but cannot fill up the container, you should ask for a less than containerload price. In the shipping world this is called a LCL price (less than containerload).

  4. Did send too quickly.

Here are other sources of information

    http://www.application-download.com/Scheng..._in_English.php

Certainly do not pay anything to get the application form. A lot of embassies are providing this form for free - see below link

    http://www.netherlands-embassy.org/files/pdf/visaform.pdf

Just type in google free application form schengen visa and you will see what is offered.

And in your case, I would not hesitate to phone to one of the embassies of the Schengen Union in Bangkok, such as the

Dutch, Belgian, German embassy to understand what they really mean with "income"

  5. We need to tile our condo and wonder were the Homemart shop is our neighbourhood. We live in Baan Phe which is about 15 km from Rayong. We know a Homemart in Rayong, but their collection is rather limited. Our does someone knows other floortile shops in our area ???

  6. We just bought a condo in VIP Rayong. In fact it was the second one ... we first bought a studio, which we have resold, to buy a bigger condo.

At the moment we started looking for the bigger condo, D2 Real Estate was the only real estate agent having some condos for sale.

Have a look at their web-site www.d2re.com. From experience we know however that not all the condos which are free at VIP are mentioned in the site, so you might perhaps, after having glance at what they offer, contact them thru e-mail
