OK Dude.
Good luck!
-
Ok I'm not in the mood to argue here, you do what you do and like it...just credit your inspirations when you are that close.
-
If your clients are happy....thumbs up.
-
I have no probs with the style or enhancing pics in digital post, my issue is when you credit yourself on a style and don't clearly explain how you get there. A quick google will tell anyone who wants to know that high pass filter is part of your process, not just contrst, burn etc...
lets not forget that a few of us are a bit more clued up than you might imagine.
-
OK well keep on doing what you are doing if you like it.
-
LOL OK
If you say so.
I wish i could believe the fact that you developed this style all on your own.
Anyway regardless of your PS actions, which pic are you most proud of?
-
So your photos have nothing to do with Dave Hill?
is this what you are saying?
it's all your own?
-
Shots are nice but the Dave Hill copy actions are a bit much, need to light your subjects specifically for this kind of thing also, not just run some orton/DH actions in photoshop.
-
I quit just one day before you so it's been interesting to read how you are getting on.
Been quite easy for me to be honest, used the easy way book and have not looked back since.

Sorry been a bit busy.
Simple way to do it. is to open a new document in Photoshop. (72dpi for web 300dpi for print ) Make sure you have a transparent background
>new text layer,add your text.
> Blend mode> soft light (this is over by the layers pallet, it's a little drop down that normally says normal)
>file>save for web devices, check PNG as file type.
then save.
Just drag the image onto any photo you want watermarked.
There is a good reason I'm not employed to write instruction manuals.
Hope it helps one or two.

You have protection unless you sign a model release allowing the photographer to use your image commercially. You could sign an agreement allowing specific use.

Pic lens is great especially for flickr or any other site where you want to look at a bunch of photos.

Does anyone know where you can buy industrial workwear i.e. cotton overalls in Western sizes in Bangkok?
Yep you can get them from Cromwell. A UK distributor of industrial tools and workwear. They use agents in Thailand so you can't buy direct. Send me a message if you want the email address of the local agent.

We bought a wonderful boxer from Nk a couple of years ago. You are welcome to come meet her if you are looking to get your own. Just send me a message on here.
Boxers make great pets, demanding yes, but worth the effort.
