  1. 15 really bad pick-up lines

You’ve probably heard them all, but they’re still good for a laugh. At the very least, it’ll give you a reason to procrastinate at work. Whatever you do, don’t use them tonight.

    1. Great legs, what time do they open?

    2. Is there a mirror in your pants? Because I can see myself in them.

    3. That's a nice dress. It'd look better on the floor next to my bed.

    4. I've just moved you to the top of my 'to do' list.

    5. Can I have your phone number? I seem to have lost mine.

    6. If you were a tree and I was a squirrel, I'd store my nuts in your hole.

    7. Are you Jamaican? Because Jamaican me crazy!

    8. Your face reminds me of a wrench. Every time I think of it, my nuts tighten up.

    9. I’d better get a library card, because I’m checking you out.

    10. You must be a high jumper, because you make my bar raise.

    11. All those curves, and me with no brakes.

    12. If I told you you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?

    13. You sure have a great-looking tooth.

    14. I want to bag you like some groceries.

    15. Screw me if I’m wrong, but is your name Janice?

  2. My Thailand is the real Thailand.....unlike those other fellows :)

Everyone's experience will be different from everyoneelse's. All we can say is that we have a good/bad experience - me, superb.

Why? Because of my wife, village life, the serenity of Buddhism, the food, the countryside, the climate, the people and the whole shebang

  3. For me the most significant part of the report is: "When asked to rate the current political situation, 73.4 percent of respondents said they felt the current political situation had not improved or was worse than at the beginning of the year, while 60.6 percent felt the economy had either not improved or had worsened over the same time period.

When questioned on the level of unity between Thai people, 71.6 percent said they felt the situation had not improved or worsened since the the current government took office at the start of the year"

This is a biting slap for Abi. He and his Dems arrived against the will of the population and did nothing to reunite the country [it was possible during the first months]. They only handle hate and aggressiveness. Even against neighbor countries like Cambodia which just asks for peace.

And now Burma has nuclear capability - the current government need to change that "71.6 percent said they felt the situation had not improved or worsened "

So what the heck, havash_t has got time to look at 5.6 million signatures, you bet he has!

  4. Hello, from what I understand about the law in LOS is that someone can only be considered for a pardon if they are serving time in Thailand. Thaksin was convicted and sentenced for corruption, but he has not been to prison so there is no basis for a pardon until he goes back to Thailand as frogs with wings will fly out of his bum. Cheers.

i assume the technicalities can be over ruled.

or perhaps a deal can be made, 1 or 2 days prison time in exchange for a pardon, for the sake of reconcilliation.

the "deal" you suggest and which I consider as "dirty" is a slap in the face of every law-abiding person.

Nobody is above the law !!! Period

    happy to hear this.

So we will see the yellow shirts in prison.

the coup of 4 years rescinded and the generals also imprisoned

  5. Carmine I agree - and it's good publicity for Koh Pha Ngan as well. I say good luck to her and I hope she wins the contest.

No doubt there are a few on here who would prefer our representative to be more stereotypically "English", so fat, ugly, loud, obnoxious, pasty white (or orange) ... etc etc

For those who don't want to claim her as English, please ignore Linford Christie and Daley Thompson's olympic medals
