  1. I just wanted to make people aware of a book that I have been using to learn Thai which I find a lot more user-friendly than some of more formal text books. It is called Learn Thai and you can buy it from the publisher direct ( kaweepublishing.com ) or, if you live in BKK, then you can find it at Asia Books. It is designed for children but, in reality, adults just beginning would find it a good resource. The author uses romanised Thai which I find a lot easier to follow. Some of the exercises are obviously intended for a younger audience, but that in no way detracts from the usefulness of the book. If you have young kids wanting to learn Thai, then this book is ideal.

  2. Have you contacted the rental/sales//management office? I'm sure it could recommend a service - perhaps the cleaning staff of the building could assist you.

    Many thanks hhgz, we have tried contacting the management office but without much luck to date (they do not reply to our emails). So, in the interest of time, we thought we should also look externally.
