I was having similar problems and went into AIS at Pattaya Central festival and they changed my sim card(transferred number over) and got me on 3G 2100, all no charge. Works great now.I have Samsung Ace II.

There is a club/bar on Pratumnak near soi 4 about 50 meters towards town called the Lounge, in the same area as the Hot Rod motorcycle place. They have the Snowman who was at the Blues Factory, Oy the drummer from the band and Tony Stevens from Savoy Brown and Foghat. They play there every Monday and Wednesday. Great stuff, I'm a big blues fan and these guys are very good and the drinks etc are not to pricey. Give it a go if you are into the blues.

The man who did it was arab. They think he might be Syrian but not sure. He worked in that restaurant by the VC hotel but the owner now claims to not know the guy

The guy was murdered. When he went home a man from a restaurant on 2nd road/Pratumnak rd by the VC hotel was in the lobby waiting for him and is seen on the video cameras leaving later. A friend of his was shpwing the pictures the other day and he was with him before he went upstairs with the guy in question. You guys can speculate all you want and be as self rightious as you want but until you know more....

I have have a Non Immigrant O-A Multiple entry Visa. What is the date that I need to re-apply for an extension? Is it the enter before date on the actual Visa or the date I first entered? My visa says enter before Sept. 20,2009. I entered on Nov. 2,2008 and got a stamp in my passport saying good until Nov.1,2009. I just returned form Laos on Feb 5,2009 and got a stamp in for Feb 4,2010. I thought I would get a stamp until Nov 1,2009 so now I am confused. Can anyone help with this?

As an aside, I used the combo method using Canadian consulate income proof letter plus money in the Thai bank account on Tuesday this week at Chonburi(Jomtien) immigration and my extension was granted with no requirement to return in 3 months.
