  1. 1) try to recalibrate your battery every 3-4 months. I need to use the battery frequently, I will recalibarte it if it lasts less than 1.5hours. After that it always can last 2.5 hours up.

2)check if you have a lot of programs start up when you turn on your laptop. Try to clean the garbage files and optimize the windows system.

Most of the computer problems are not related to hardware.

  2. Wandee Culinary School

Website is in Thai, but maybe you can get through it.

You can switch to English if you want to using the Brit Flag button at the top. I heard this is a good course. I'm thinking of doing it myself. The Le Cordon Bleu course looks interesting but very expensive and they cover the business side of running a Thai restaurant too. But it's a new course and the first intake of students haven't yet completed. I'd love to chat with one of these but I haven't been able to track one down.....yet. :)

PS Roc634, I can give you a little more info on Wandee if you want to contact me.

Thanks Hadrian1. It seems you know a lot about Thai Culinary. Have taken any of their course?

  3. I'm kind of interested in Thai food and want to learn how to cook several courses. I've checked several cooking schools already, but it seems they are facing the tourists, which teach only 3-6 courses while spend quite some time in the markets or somewhere else. Could you guys recommend some cooking schools teaching seriously how to cook Thai food at a resonable price rather than a tour package? Thanks very much.

  4. Taxi drivers are not easy. The taxi fare is probably the cheapest in the world already. It's not comparable at all. How many meters can you go for 120 Baht in London. What you pay is what you get.

anyother "but in my home country " - nonsense.

in the UK the average monthly salary isn't just 180 Pounds Sterling, isn't it ?

the taxi in the UK is probably cheaper than in CM, considering the general cost of living and the average salary.

what to complain when the pound is multiplied by 50 in Thailand.

  5. Thailand is one of the countries that "Windows XP Starter Edition" is specially made for. However, I don't think you need that edition. It is even lower than XP home edition. You can run only 3 programs at the same time. Moreover, MS has stopped sailing XP and it is going to stop providing technical support after April 2014.

  6. A common "SEO Professional" won't help a lot, because he doesn't necessarily know more than you. However, a SEO expert can greatly help. He always has a supporting team. He knows the density of the key words and the numbers of external links in a page.

SEO is a continuous job. The result of the last effort will fade gradually without maintanance.

There are a lot of free courses online. You will learn the basic of SEO by taking the kind of courses, but if you want to see a good result, an expert is needed. Experience is the most important thing.
