Pro-Thaksin party wins Thai election by landslide: report

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's opposition Puea Thai Party, allied with ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, won a general election on Sunday by a landslide with 313 of 500 available parliamentary seats, according to an exit poll by Bangkok's Suan Dusit University.

A majority!Wonder how close this call is. Lots of tears in the dems camp if near correct

  3. Instead of people saying everyone knows how its done (they do not all know) how about some one showing some links to the infomation needed to become Thai.

Let us know how it is possible (requirements) etc....

hi, would be great to get info, I'm from a schengen country, female, married to thai, 2 children (thai nat.), living in thailand 16 years, applied for thai nationality 2 y ears ago, went fine w. RTPol, several interviews + simple language test, now my case is stucked (15 month!) at "mahathai", ministry of interior affairs (Santhibaan 3?), got somebody to check but this person only found out, I should "donate" 100 000 up(!) to this small group of people who finally decide. I'm not able and willing to pay such a price. anybody out there who was in the same situation + how long took it without bribery? should I get in touch with the anti-corruption deptm.? in fact I got no evidence, just the word of a local politician . thanks for any info

  4. hi, I'm german, since 18 years on a non-imm."M" visa as I'm female and married to a thaiman and heared about this ใบต่างด้าว but the local imm.officer couldn't give me any informations how this permit differs from the general permanent resident visa and what requirements are asked for. 5. hi, I don't know partic. about this wats but tried the one of Mae chee Bongkot in Saiyok, a monastry mainly for women but I could stand it only for 1 day. instead of the promised meditation instruction we had to sit 3x2 h praying and afterward they showed a vdo about the life of Nun Bongkot, she left her family

(2 children 2+4 y.) following her "enlightment" to build this temple. By the way, this temple is huge, the donations must have been millions and millions - the whole thing made me feeling an alien between convinced somewhatever. Didn't give it a further chance and left the next morning, happy to stay with my children again, tried it with Yoga and that really works for my needs.
