The company is very particular about the size and condition and if you are in the area you can buy the rejects locally after sorting at a very low price.

It is better to use Booking.com as you normally pay direct to the Hotel not in advance unless you opt for a non-refundable booking. Booking.com also quote the actual price to be paid whereas Agoda generally now exclude tax and service until you complete the booking. There is at least one cruise leaving Bangkok during March to Mumbai and I think another to Dubai and then onward to the Med. There are others leaving Singapore but not much later than March/April.

The New Chi Chang store in Promenada has a wide selection of manufactures. I bought a new windows 8 tablet recently, the service was excellent and the salesperson spent about 1 hr setting up the machine and explaining the operation of Windows 8 I have never received this level of service before.

The fact that Australia does not stamp you in or out is a problem. I my case I have a resident Visa for life provided I return within 3 years. Leaving Bangkok recently I was refused boarding as they could not find the stamp from my last visit, fortunately I found an entry stamp to Thailand with the arriving flight marked on it and with some reluctance they accepted it and checked me in.

Yingluck has basically offered most of what was asked. It appears that by doing so it has thrown Suthep and his Dem sheep in to confusion and now veiled threats of violence from the deputy leader of the Dems, they are still relying on military intervention as the only way back in to power.

Reform is needed, Yingluck is offering it in what appears to be a very open way, it is obvious now that the Dems are that in name only,shame on them!

If you have a valid Schengen Visa and have previously entered a Schengen country with the Visa then it can be used to enter Cyprus without the need for a Cyprus Visa.

The UK government website has just issued a travel warning of possible increased risk of anti western sentiment in Thailand, does anyone know what has instigated this warning.

It is very reasonable for tourists to have to prove that they have insurance and it should be compulsory for all on Visas as it is in Europe. If someone arrives without insurance then they should be able to buy it at the airport before going through immigration this would not delay immigration.

Same problem with a Galaxy S3 mini. Service centre in Chiang Mai was also busy and the wait was around 30 min but the service was excellent. The staff member at the desk checked the phone and put it on a special charger for about 5 mins and told me to put it on the charger as soon as possible and I have had no problem since. Apparently you must charge the Galaxy when the battery is down to about 25% as if it gets to 0% and shuts down it it may not charge.

I have a TF300 with 3G and it is excellent except that the screen failed when it was less than 6 months old and ASUS had no spares in Thailand however after about 8 weeks delay and many phone calls they did replace the entire machine and it has performed well since.

I checked the Bangkok Airways transfer time recently and on their Website they have a list of Airlines with whom they have transfer facilities and the transfer time which i recall is not less than 1 Hr 15 Mn. However you have to check your baggage through to final destination and this is no problem even if you have separate tickets. However from the information given you might be just short of time but I suggest that you check with Bangkok Airways.

Thai insurance is cheap but cover is limited and unlikely to cover USA costs. I also use Columbus Direct which has good worldwide cover.

Having investigated all types of water filters most of which produce dead water I found that I Water was the most interesting. The machine is produced by a company called Japin and is available in CM but it is expensive however you can buy the Water in 5Ltr containers and it is worth trying before buying. There are a number of claims made about this process some of which might be questionable but I have found it to have good qualities and in my opinion superior to any other filtration system. Suggest that you visit Homemart on the Super Highway, they promote Kitcho units with a rep. on site and she is very helpful and will produce a computer generated design to meet your requirements. They supply standard units which you can install or they have a very reasonable installation service and will no doubt obtain a granite top for you.
