Since the school administration has opened a bank account in Geng's name to help raise money for his family, could they just provide the account details rather than asking that we ring the teacher?

IMHO: There is no good answer to this person's question.

Not much impetus for change when you think the problem lies entirely with the other side. This guy won't be eased out and will have to be removed the hard way.

Operative word is "may" which renders the rest of the statement meaningless.

Seems you are still allowed to publish, and thank goodness I'm still allowed to dismiss you.

'Ousted Thai PM Thaksin says martial law must not 'destroy' democracy'
Some statements are so rediculous it's impossible to reply and they should be left to reverberate on their own.

Haven't seen this spokesman before. Where's Tarit? Is he at home packing or has he already left?

Might want to ask the Native Americans how well a similar deal worked out for them.

Wonder if he'll phone it in or send in a representative? He seems to have already perfected his vanishing act, which, of late, fully qualifies him for his current position.

Nitirat, remember them? This is Nitirat 2.0. Perhaps they think plugging in the word democracy or double dd initials will broaden their appeal. Actually, it's same old, same old.

About the only good thing you can say about him is that he's proof a billiard ball can grow hair. But as a (former) member of government he's a complete joke.

Seems the guy did a bit more than 'complain'. If this had been a PDRC supporter on Aksa Road waving a Suthep poster do you really think he would have been presented with flowers? Stupid guy.

OMG send him some flowers & reassign him to the lifestyle section. Never heard so much fuss over something that "almost" or "alledgedly" happened. I thought frontline journalists were made of tougher stuff.

The very fact that you need to make such a claim suggests you're not.

What an utter cretin. If this guy's against you, you must be doing something right.

By all means go on one last junket but don't bother to come back. Although some will miss you for comic relief.

PTP the hydra of Thai politics. Cut off one head and two more appear to take its place.

If the guy is truely unwelcome, few will go to the concert, proving the point much more effectively than banning. However, if you're afraid he and his efforts will be welcomed by the community, banning may be the your only recourse.
Since has UDD stopped this charity event in it's tracks, I would expect to hear they've come up with alternate plan to fund these kids. Jatuporn, Nuttawut, Thida, anyone? Waiting . . .

I know this should be a serious topic but the photo made me laugh as it appears Schroeder is the huggee rather than the hugger, which in these legalistic times surely makes a difference. He also has that desperate expression on his face which proclaims, "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!"

Similar mindset to last week's Ferrari Boys, "Look at me and what I did!" Sure she felt it's no big deal but she's wrong on many levels. Should be be made to feel the consequences.

Appears he's preparing to make a career move. Sees himself as destined for bigger things. He's been the "Peter Principle" personified for years.
