And the Truck Driver had to pull over for a sleep. These People can sleep on the Head of a Pin, and about 20 times a day ....

Really do agree that an Entertainment area like Bangla Road should be able to run until at least 4am. I can't think of any Private Homes or even Guest Houses close enough to be affected by noise. You could simply bring in a regulation to cut noise levels after 1am ...

They say they only want an area that rightfully belongs to them. Funny how they forget they walked in uninvited and set up two Stations in Antarctica on Australian Territory. And that's the other side of the World ....

If anyone is the least bit interested in what really happened this is part of a local report of the incident .... Apparently a British fellow while parking his bike knocked a Helmet off another bike. A Frenchman from the Bar next door came out to investigate as it was his Helmet. The Brit apologized for the accident which was accepted, and both men shook hands. At that moment the Frenchman's friend came out thinking his mate was in a bit of bother and was quite loud and animated in the process. The Brits friends similarly came out to see what all the commotion was about, and push came to shove before a couple of punches were thrown. There was no such thing as a British Gang, just a silly misunderstanding ....

Wear a helmet....bike, scooter, motorbike. Your head doesn't really care what it fell off, when it hits the ground.

Given the situation the US was in when Obama was first elected, I don't think one term was enough to make any real changes. A second term now gives him a chance to bring in Policies that can make a real difference. Getting the Troops Home would be a good start ??

In 2005 my wife daughter and self went down to Bkk to do the Embassy thing. My wife in her wisdom forgot to mention that the following day was the start of Sonkran. As I'm sure your all aware this meant every seat on every form of transport to Udonthani was booked solid. My wife had a Taxi Card on her and phoned to see if we could get one that would take us up Country. As we finished breakfast about 20 minutes later, parked outside was a brand new Corolla with a huge cb ariel on the back. We left Bkk at 9.00am and he had us in Udon by 3.30pm. As we were climbing the Hills out of Bkk he was getting updates on road conditions for the trip. When he had finished the voice on the radio came over in English wishing me a safe and comfortable trip. I was impressed !! The cost was Bt 6600 with a smile, and when you consider what 3 plane tickets was going to cost me, a dam_n good deal and all the sight seeing thrown in for free. Try that in your own country !!

Apparently has Nazi Tattoos over his Body and wore a knuckle duster on a chain around his Neck. Has been caught in Konkaen and repatriated to Udon. Silly Girl did not deserve to Die, but should have had more sense than to play the field while living with a Man and excepting Bt5000 a week to pay off her debts !!

Ahhh, ok. So the degree of salinity is ok, as long as it is consistant from hatching?
The Thai Fish are a Greyish colour and have a muddy flavour to them, where the Aussie Fish have a White flesh with distinctive purple stripes going through it, and of course the flavour is superb !!

There is an old Thai style to keep freshness of lemon for 1-2 months by burying lemons in damp sand. Use a wooden bucket or opened container that has hole for draining water, make sure you don't flood the sand, sprinkle a little water few times a week so it won't dry up.
It works well with kaffir lime too.
Good luck .
Thanks for that! Certainly worth a try, anyway.
So I've now found an old stone plantpot with a hole in the bottom, put a few crocs in there, taken 10 good big hard yellow lemons from the tree, and filled the pot with the lemons and enough sand so the lemons aren't touching.
Let's see what happens! Anyone interested, contact me again in February.

So how did the Lemons work out, can you still eat them ??
