  1. Well I was able to add the product on my cart as well (EDIT:download version). But then came the time to create an adobe account and i wasnt given the option to have my address in TH. Maybe I could just cheat its in HK or somewhere and then get the ID on my email.

IT-city, Invadeit dont have it. Oh well, I guess I will just wait till I get to Europe or get a cracked version like I used to.

  2. I had already visited Adobe online store and it does not seem to allow purchasing online for people living in Thailand. I checked it out again and the South East Asia "including Thailand, Vietnam etc" only allows SGP, HK and South-Africa as my location. So it certainly looks like I have to get it from Amazon, if even that is possible.

The toll free 01800** number doesnt work. Adobe is making it difficult to be their customer.

  3. I want to get Adobe Lightroom and Microsoft Word on my working computer and dont want to get the risk of getting a trojan (again) from illegal software so its time to buy original. Where in BKK can I find those softwares? Any idea on prices? LR costs $299 on Adobe online store but for some reason I cant buy online in Thailand.

  4. Many thanks for the replies. It looks like I will be heading to Bumrungrad (although i doubt the reason they are popular is not the proximity to BTS :) ). I very much liked to see beforehand what the tests include (unlike Samitivej) plus people seemed to like the service they had been getting which is the biggest compliment a hospital can get i guess.

  5. First, try to find out what is disconnecting:

    - is it the entire link? This means the circuit is going down (DSL light on the router goes off) and usually indicates cable problems.

    - is it only the PPP link? If this is the case, the local loop is okay, and the problem is very likely to be the TOT routers (LAC, LNS).

Yes the (A)DSL light goes off for a while. I have no expertice to say about the PPP link.

Which cable could it be? I have already switched the cables coming and going from/to modem. Why would bad cables disconnect me with almost regular intervals?

    thanks for the help

  6. What does this mean?

  7. I live in a big condo building on Sukhumvit road and my ToT connection was working ok for months when all of a sudden it started disconnecting at least once an hour. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. I have tried just about everything to solve this. ToT guys (who seem to only know how to install a modem) have come here twice, I have bought a new modem, I have switched all the cables, i have turned off the Wlan, and nothing seems to help. I havent heard anybody else in the building having a similar problem so I am really baffled. And borderline desperate because I still have 5 months left in my rental contract and ToT has a priviledge contract for the building so I cant just change operators, plus the building wont allow any cabels to be hung outside the building and digging them underground is of course expensive.

Has anybody had similar problems? Do any solutions come to mind? Are there any _reliable_ mobile connections out there? I have a GPRS connection on my phone but that is far from sufficient for regular use.
