  1. I had my 4th one in April. Our local Lotus's (used to be called Tesco) gives them every weekend. No appointment needed.
  2. I have had four vaccine shots and still wear a mask and social distance. Vaccines don't keep you from getting the virus. They just prepare your body to fight it off. Masks are mainly to protect others. If you have the virus, which you can still have no matter how many vaccine shots you have, you are still infectious to other people. That is why you should wear a mask.
  3. No, most dogs and not a safety issue. Most are killed as a matter of convenience. ????
  4. Yes, I don't need alcohol or socializing with tipsy tourists to have a good time. And Jesus has nothing to do with that or anything else in my life... ????
  5. I will still wear my mask for some time for my protection, but the main purpose of wearing a mask is for other people's protection. If you know you are carrying the COVID-19 virus or are having symptoms, I hope you too will wear one.
  6. I will still wear mine in public for a while yet, for my own protection, but, the main purpose of the mask is for other people's protection. If you know you are carrying the COVID-19 virus or having some symptoms, I encourage you to wear one also.
  7. I don't put the dogs above people, but I don't put the people above dogs - especially when it's just people's convenience versus a dog's life. If I was given the choice of helping a person or a dog, I'd help the one I thought needed my help the most.
  8. I first came to Thailand 20 years ago. I liked it here, so decided to retire here. Since then, I've married and live in the mountains in Phetchabun Province. I am not a Buddhist (or Christian, or any other religion), so I don't regularly go to Buddhist temples. I'm in Thailand because there are only a few Farangs here, most (but not all) of which come to Thailand to do things of which I don't approve. But, living in the mountains as I do, I don't run into them often, and don't have to put up with them every day like I would if I lived in my home country (USA).
  9. Easier, but not the right thing to do. You shouldn't kill another living being just because it makes life "easier" for you. That's called "hubris" and is one of the three primary causes of our (human's) continuing destruction of the Earth's environment. Read my recent book on this subject, The Icarus Syndrome. You can buy or get a free copy here: www.billsmart.com/bsc/E-Publishing/Free Books/Icarus/FreeBooksIcarus.htm
  10. Until I know the COVID-19 pandemic is truly over, I will continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Also, although it doesn't have anything to do with COVID-19, I won't ingest cannabis or go to bars whose primary purpose is to sell alcoholic beverages. So, I guess that's "normal" for me.
  11. If they are taken into homes, the owners of the home would be paying for all that. If they are housed in government-funded facilities, the government would be paying for all that with tax money from local citizens.
  12. I live in the mountains of Phetchabun. People from the cities come here come to the mountains to dump their unwanted dogs. At present, we have 14 dogs, all of which were found on the mountain road near our house. I also encourage my neighbors (Thias) to give abandoned dogs homes, which they do from time to time. I hope you will consider doing that too.
  13. Excel, you may have missed the part of my post where I said, "Safety is another issue. If a particular dog is proven to be a danger to humans, then yes, put it down. And, if a particular human is proven to be a danger to dogs, put them down too." And I never said dogs shouldn't be considered a food source - or humans. ????
  14. Like I said above in the part of my post, "Safety is another issue. If a particular dog is proven to be a danger to humans, then yes, put it down. And, if a particular human is proven to be a danger to dogs, put them down too."
  15. We kill cows, pigs, etc., for food. That's acceptable to me as long as it's done humanely. You are suggesting we kill dogs just because they make you uncomfortable. Why do you think your comfort is more valuable than a dog's life?
  16. I agree with the first part of your suggestion but not the second. A dog's life is more important than someone's desire for comfort and order. Safety is another issue. If a particular dog is proven to be a danger to humans, then yes, put it down. And, if a particular human is proven to be a danger to dogs, put them down too.
  17. It's easy to see other solutions: find them homes or house them in government-funded facilities. ????
  18. People are getting attacked and injured because people have domesticated dogs and now refuse to give them homes and proper care. So, what is suggested? Kill the dogs. I call that morbid.
  19. Nothing, right now. I don't live in Krabi. I live in the mountains of Phetchabun and have 14 dogs. They were all strays abandoned on the mountain road near my home.
  20. The quote below your signature says "The world is a magical place, full of people waiting to be offended by something." If you're not offended by the suggestion of killing homeless dogs, then world is not so much a "magical place" for you as a "morbid place." ????
  21. The cost of finding the homes should be covered by either donations or tax money. The cost of keeping the dogs in the homes themselves would be covered by the homeowners.
  22. I know exactly what I'm "babbling about"... from experience. Now, however, I don't use drugs like this of any kind.
  23. I don't need to do research. I have experience.... And now, I don't do drugs of any kind.
  24. If this is found to be true here at this school or anywhere the public is given food or drink that contains marijuana without their knowledge, those responsible should be put in jail for a long, long time.
