my 1st dose of pfizer was delivered into my upper left arm during the afternoon of the 4th of september, by the very nice people at my local hospital, samitivej suk. 49. during the early evening of the same day, i developed a splitting headache, and a mild feeling of nausea. additionally, i felt the need to drink several cups of tea throughout the evening, instead of my usual two. anyway, i took a couple of ibuprofen, and the symptoms had subsided by bedtime.
the following morning, apart from a sore upper arm, i felt quite well again, so much so that i ordered my maid to prepare a batch of banana and chocolate ice cream milkshake. being the glutton that i am, i had consumed the lot within 30 mins. and am now laid out on the sofa with a protruding stomach, and feeling quite nauseas once again.
i am looking forward to my second dose pfizer of later this month, however milkshakes will be off the menu for a considerable while thereafter!

For all the good that it did me, I have sent an email to the embassy requesting assistance.

My last 90-Day report by post was 3 months ago and the notification was later than usual by about 2 weeks.

I usually provide 4 'family' photos. Each year the locations are exactly the same.
1. Outside of the main entrance to the condo building, fingers pointing up to the name sign (name sign visible)
2. Outside of my condo unit front door, fingers pointing up to the numbers above the door (numbers visible)
3. Inside of my condo unit sitting on the bed, fingers pointing to the open built-in storage in background (clothes visible)
4. Inside of my condo unit sitting on the sofa, fingers pointing at one another
As you can see, I like to adhere to the local custom of finger pointing to draw attention to the important details.
I have only ever been visited by the kindly immigration people on one occasion many years ago. As you might expect, they became lost and had to phone me for directions. I did ask why they hadn't used the location map provided, but it had been forgotten, apparently. They spent about 30 mins. inspecting my home, looking into cupboards and casually interviewing my partner. Before they left they insisted that I pay them a 500 baht inspection fee, which I acquiesced to.

2. You can only do them at the temporary office at Muang Thong Thani now instead of CW.
According to this site, CW Immigration Online Appt Booking Webpage: http://203.151.166.132/immigrant_queue/booking/ it seems that it can be done at Chamchuri.

CW Immigration Online Appt Booking Webpage
Thanks for the info. It looks like my only option is to drop in next month as usual. Unfortunately, booking is not an option currently.

I usually drop into the CW offices four weeks before my current Non-O visa expires. If I arrive at opening time, then I am always finished before lunch.
This year I am unsure if I can just drop in as usual or if there is a requirement to book in advance. Can someone please provide me with some relevant info.
Thanks!

Here is my general list of required documents. Marriage Extension Requirements 2.pdf
I extend my 'O' visa at CW and their requirements vary, so be prepared.
Last year, for the first time they asked for a second copy of my passport pages, so there was a quick trip downstairs to the copy shop.
Each year they request a copy of my latest 90-Day Notice.

OP, We are currently under amnesty. 90 reports not required according to gazette. You could attend MTT later in person and not be fined prior to end of amnesty.
Thanks for the info. I like to keep my immigration affairs in order as far as possible.

U could do it online. Work on 80 days and u will be fine
I did try an online website a number of years ago, but was unable to successfully use it, apparently because my details were not in their database. The kindly staff at CW suggested that I officially leave and re-enter the country to solve the problem. I decided not to avail myself at that time nor since.
Subsequently last year I installed a app on my phone in the hopes of making the process less onerous, however after registering I receive connection to site failures. Therefore, I still rely on the post service to aid me in my 90-day reporting.

^ Thanks, I will head to the post office in the morning then.

I am due to report next on Oct. 14th, according to my last receipt of notification.
I have been doing my reporting via post this year, and unfortunately forgot to mail it off last week!
1. Is it too late to mail it out 'EMS' tomorrow, 6th Oct? (Immigration do state at least 15 days prior).
2. Apart from CW, is there anywhere else in Bangkok that I can report in person? Chamchuri for example?
Thanks.

I'm sure the O/P is referring to this web site which gives a daily report showing where each confirmed case is. I'm quite sure that it is bona fide.
The website above is not currently providing information. I had been referring to it for many days now and noted the spread from Bangkok to the north and east of the country in particular. It was functioning until sometime on Monday evening.
I can only speculate what might have happened to it!

Is this new regulation only applicable to those foreigners over 50 who apply for a new/extended retirement visa or whether it applies to all visas (e.g. non-o marriage) for foreigners in Thailand over 50?

I lost my collection of the old Duty Free TV series due to a h/d failure and have been trying to replace it. i used to be a member of the Box which was a great resource for UK TV.
rareshare.me has series 1 thankfully
sadly i can't get any invite code to either TVChaosUK or xpeeds.eu, any ideas?

i received a new 10-year uk passport in bangkok about a month ago. the whole process took about 4 weeks and was dealt with very efficiently at the time or so i thought.
as i picked up the new passport i was asked to show the old one. the guy took it and got his scissors ready. i implored him not to cut the edges as it would save me from having to go to the trouble of transferring visa stamps. he said that he was required to so i left it at that.
it is only today that i find out that in order to transfer visa stamps (marriage visa extended in bangkok for several years) at bangkok immigration, that i need yet another letter, and this time a trip to the embassy is required to get it.
i am quite upset that the thai guys made no mention of this when i picked up my new passport, neither did they furnish me with the appropriate information or forms etc. that i need to submit to the embassy.
so i have two questions:
1) where can i obtain the app. form that i need to present to the british embassy in order that they will supply a letter?
2) if i don't transfer the visa stamps is it just a question of taking both passports when i do bangkok 90-day reporting in person?
thanks in advance
-
^ thanks.
how long does it usually take for the guys in bangkok to respond to the request for an appointment?
-
They should accept the bill but you would need it translated to English.
Even though in at least two separate places on the bill it has my name & address in English?
I was hoping to avoid time & money at the translation shop. I guess I may just as well get my yellow Tabien Baan translated if that's the case.
Thanks.

i apologize in advance for posting in this somewhat dated thread but it was on a topic that i need advice with.
attached are the supporting doc. requirements for renewing a uk passport.
i'm here on an o visa, marriage and have been for several years.
when i go along to trendy i'll take my current passport & in addition a color photocopy of all pages.
additionally ...
will accept as name and address evidence, a color copy of my most recent true visions bill ?
thanks in advance.
