Tell the truth. If the service and food was not up to a reasonably standard you should tell them friends or not BUT (did you eat the food) if you did you cant expect a discount if you didn't ask for your money back.

The exchange rate you get at the airport will be around the same as anywhere on Phuket give or take a few satongs

DON'T bother, Put your money in a fund account and you will make more than having a bar and a massive headache and an empty wallet but nobody listens and I bet you are new to Thailand.

Phuket immigration will not accept a Siam fund account the money has to be in a savings account. This all so confusing so I should ask your local immigration office.

Why are return flights from Bangkok to England aprox £300 more than England to Bangkok? thats even flying on the same planes with the same operator. Do Thais have to pay a high flight premium or something?
I am asking as i want to fligh my girlfriend over to the UK as a birthday present to her (if i can sort the holiday visa out) but it looks like it will cost me £800 where as it will only cost me £450 or 500 to go see her.
Thailand want people to come and not to leave airlines should be ashamed of them selves.

G'day,
I have been looking at the Hitachi and the Mitsu pumps, one 280W, one 300W. Both are the cube type available from HomePro. The Mitsu has the electronics and all the "changs" say to buy anything without it because electronics are hard and expensive to service.
I don't buy that logic, not in this day and age. So I bought the Mitsu for about 6.7K. The Hitachi is cheaper at 6.3K.
Has anyone used that model and is happy with its reliability? I have a 2 story townhouse and intend to use it to drive a tub and rain showers.
Thanks
Matt
Hi
Just buy the cheapest water pumps are very reliable normally.

How do you go about finding a consultant for Macintosh & Internet in Thailand?
I'm tired of beating my head against the wall about using my Mac on the Internet here.
So I'll pay someone to beat his head against the wall, for a change.
I have a MacBook.
Want to set up OpenVPN, maybe PPTP, and, also PGP, but I don't know how.
How to find someone already familiar with those?
Not someone who will learn at my expense, but someone who already knows what to do.
Please don't bother suggesting computer stores.
They're are fine for refilling ink cartridges, but this requires a higher level of expertise.
Expertise which I don't have either.
Here's the key: he wouldn't have to be where I am. (I live in Chiangmai.)
With the Internet, a consultant could be in California, or maybe in India -- doesn't matter to me.
But how do you go about finding someone who has the expertise?
I'm at a loss.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Never mind visa's for free. Thailand should be closing it's boarders to China till the coronavirus is under control.
