  1. There is an online health food store selling enema bag, kids and also probiotics

    www.goodkarmathailand.com

They ship all over Thailand and have many other health food products. You might them useful.

Alternatively you could try one of the many detox centers in Thailand.

In Phuket there is Wellness House Asia run by a chiropractor naturopath www.wellnesshouse.asia and also Atmanjani which is right on the beach www.atmanjai.com

Not sure about the other ones but know there are many.

    Good luck with your detox.

  2. I am in Phuket and have also used them, they have flax seeds, chia seeds, psyllium, vaniall and all kinds of good stuff. Stuff that Villa has but a lot more too.. and genuine health food. Good service and selection.

You can also arrange to pick it up in Kata Noi if you live near and not pay for shipping.

found this place on the forum since I live in jomtien I had stuff delivered, good prices, good product, good service. If you in Puket maybe there is a physical store

  3. This is just to inform everyone that there is a fantastic new tennis coach at Phuket Sport Club in Rawai (phuketsport.com). Lessons are Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Harrison coaches with energy and fun and your child is sure to have a great time. My son goes there and loves every minute of it.

  4. I am considering putting my children in Kajonkiet. I have a 6 and 10 year old. I hear many bad things about their English program. Can anyone who has children there or teaches there tell me what their experiences with the school have been? Also, if anyone sends their child to the Thai program or ESC program, I would love to hear what you have to say too.

Thank so much for any information.

  5. Thanks MisterMan x : :o

Recovering Data from a broken laptop mostly is an easy job. Laptops brake from problems with the logicboard, the cpu. Just take out the HD and put it in another computer and you have all data available.

A broken HD is a very difficult job, depending of the kind of damage. Time consuming. You need special software. The question is how much is it worth to you your data to be recovered.

there is a computer guy in Chalong named Franz. That is probably him trying to gouge you on a smaller scale. Listen to flaming Todd instead.

PS Email Khun Pranit at [email protected] and see if he does data recovery or also

M2K Wireless Khun Koby [email protected]

Both of them speak and COMPREHEND English fluently.

    Boater, who did you use?

  6. My hard drive is damaged so it is a bigger job than just transferring data.

That is a crazy price, when my Laptop broke, the datatransfer cost be 500THB and took them 1 day
  7. Thank you. That is so nice to hear as I am feeling like such an idiot for getting myself into this situation.

Tell you what. I'd am so sure it would be like $20 - 50.00 USD that I am going to go by the Mac Store when I am at central.

DO NOT PAY THE $1250.00 USD.

I will have an answer for you later.

  8. Stupid me did not back up my data on my Macbook. I am in USA at the moment and they have quoted me $1250 to get it recovered from my damaged HD. I will be back in Phuket and am wondering if anyone knows someone that can do this and what the average price is?

    I'd appreciate any information.

    Thanks

  9. I am currently living Phuket and my home was just broken into. This seems to be a regular occurrence based on the uneven distribution of wealth in Phuket. I am wondering if this is the same in Chiang Mai? Is it common for expats to be targeted, whether their home or just their wallets while out for the evening. Any information anyone can give regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated. I am not a rich expat, but actually a young mom married to a Thai man. I don't believe we had anything worth stealing, but I am still saddened that this is a reality in the place I call home.

  10. I believe having 25 kids in a classroom with 3 teachers is great. My son is at the Montessori school and I am very pleased with it. He is 9 and we have just moved from America. He is being challenged and is learning far more social studies and science than he did in his old school. The teachers have all been there a minumum of three years. I would have to disagree with the comment that the children there have no critical thinking or reading skills and the person that believes "kids run the school" in a Montessori environment obviously knows very little about the Montessori philosophy.

  11. I have just moved my family to Phuket and my boys are happy and have adjusted well. The main thing missing though is organized sports activities. Does anyone know of any football/soccer or basketball leagues in Phuket? I have one child at the Montessori school and one at Thai Hua and neither school provides either of these as after school activities. Do any schools other than the British school have sports programs? I would appreciate and information anyone has. Maybe someone could think about starting a kids football league????????????????
