  1. Anywasy ever since I learned about this unintentional method of biasing the public I always try to look for these biases and call bullshit whenever I see one.

    unintentional???

    It's intentional...and it's everywhere.

Another good trick is to use photos: a leftist newspaper will always show flattering pictures of its political heroes; politicians on the other side of the political divide will routinely be shown looking their worst.

  2. All the providers charge around 1 Baht/minute!

Is this actually the case? I ask this because I have a feeling that with DTAC it may be somthing more like 1 baht per click.

For example, with my Siemens mobile phone I connect often to www.bbc.co.uk/mobile and view many pages. The costs incurred seem to correlate closely to the number of pages I view (ie, 5 pages = 5 baht).

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

My account, by the way, is prepaid.

  3. I was banned by a bigotted moderator.

Nobody would reply, why I was banned.

George can I suggest looking at what mods do what, do a balance based on useful input from the mods, the kick the dick headed ones.

Then run a recruitment drive where people put up a reason why they should be mods based on their posting history and members vote.

What reasons do you think they would give?

  4. hmmmm, It seems Dr_Pat_pong wins <deleted> of the year, well his best mate IT_Manager was thrown out of the country for his indescrections, we all know what these Aussies are like.

In terms of visa advice/information, Dr PP is probably the most useful contributor to this forum.

It's the other moderators who are totally useless.

  5. I honestly couldn't give a flying F whether I get banned or not because I never take any of this crap seriously.

That said, it does seem to me that this site is shooting itself in the foot by employing far too many "moderators" who've clearly got nothing better to do than exert their "authority" by banning people who are interesting, colourful and relevant.

Anyone with half a brain can see that most of these so-called "moderators" are little more than worthless turds with small lives, small careers, small responsibilities and small outlooks.

Admittedly George and Dr PP are good, but the rest are just a bunch of F..ing pricks.

  6. You are only likely to catch it if a) you have a cut on your penis, or develop one during intercourse :o vaginal juice enters the penis eye and seeps into the uretha (urinating within 24 hours absolves this), 3) you swallow a lot of her vaginal juice during oral sex; bearing in mind that the enzymes in your saliva will normally neutralize any virus, this third possible form of contraction is extremely rare.

This is all rubbish, tosh, moronic banter, hearsay and bullshit. ALWAYS wear a condom and NEVER listen to the fools who claim to know all about AIDS.

  7. They are almost always anonymous, posting insults under screen names so as to be insulated from reprisals, and sometimes they go past merely being annoying to offering libel online. Some trolls are more clever than simply shouting obscenities into the faces of anyone around; they pose a question or comment in such a manner as to seem serious.

Open your eyes a little: everyone on this forum is anonymous.

Oddly enough though, many of the more interesting and amusing "trolls" are reviled for their "trolling", while some of the more foul mannered and insulting have in the recent past received the backing of one of this forum's more sycophantic moderators.

And in case you're wondering, yes - I too am a troll (my name is not really Johnny Moron).

  8. As for the friends issue, well, if you ask most Thai people how many true friends they have it will usually come down to just a few that they have known since childhood.

I agree with everything you say.

My only "real" Thai friends are the brothers of my Thai wife. All have good jobs and are reasonably wealthy.

  9. Personally I am usually a number 3, but since I started eating all bran i've now progressed to number 4, with a kind of fluffy coating.

On reflection I think mine may also have been a number 3.

What you neglected to mention however is that the Type 3 stool is the one most likely to float and prove difficult to flush.

For your further interest then, allow me to state that the turd in question was not only a type 3, it was also a floater.

  10. Rod_kalashnikov is banned ?!!! Oh, words cannot explain how sad I am !!!! The guy is definitely a bigot, full of hatred towards certain people and groups of people. I think, in one thread, he was writing extremely nasty things about Muslims in general. I doubt he shall be missed by anyone here, except maybe some fellow bigots.

    Regards,

    Jem

When I get time, I will read all of Rod_Kalashnikov's posts.

After reading your post, I looked up all he wrote this month.

You should put your brain in gear and do the same.

The man you describe is nothing like the man I see.

Then perhaps you need to do a little re-reading. The man was a LUNATIC.

Admittedly he started well, but of of late he descended into a pit a hatred, bigotry and insanity.

I can almost picture him now, sitting at home in his one room shit-hole apartment in Sukhummwit while wa*king off over the latest edition of "Guns & Ammo Weekly". What a Class A Loser!

  11. despite  all  the  talk,  did  he  or

did  he  not , and  what  punishment

he  deserves ,  if    guilty .

      the  bottom  line is,

          " wear  a  codom "

there  is  no  second  chance . :o

I think you'll find that in this case the victims were women.

I'm not being sarcastic because, as we all know, female condoms do exist.

But I doubt very much that they exist in the deepest darkest depths of sunny Isaan.

(btw, has the local village idiot really been banned?)

  12. I know little or nothing about HIV and/or AIDS, but would like to ask a question to those who feel they do.

If it can be shown that this German is HIV positive and 450 of the girls he slept with really are similarly infected, is there any way of proving that it was in fact he who infected them. I mean, can the infecting partner actually be traced?

  13. Anyway, back to the point - why is showing emotion such a... Taboo almost?

Incedentally, Ning and I are still in touch by phone roughly every other day and are getting along so so as friends - I care about her more than I miss her.

"treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen".

And why care about someone who's just dumped you???

  14. thai women (and most s.e. asian women) have retained the one thing that makes a woman a real woman and that is her femininity.

western women seem to have lost that a lot of that special quality.

femininity can make ordinary looking women extremely desirable.

a beautiful woman without femininity is just not that attractive.

thai women have it in abundance.

Am I the only one to feel a sense of weariness in response to posts like this?

    No, you're not.

In Thailand, "femininity" is all too often an inexperienced or sexually unsuccessful man's perception of what actually is servility and docility.

If Thai women really were so wonderful, why is it that so many of the foreign men who marry them are so physically repulsive?

  15. There's a big wide world out there boy: winners go out and take what they want from it; only little people stay at home and complain all the time about their bad luck.

A Fair point , but GS is NOT at home , he IS in the big wide world.. :o

...then maybe he needs to go back home for a long re-think :D

  16. In Yasothon it's fantastic.

Most hotel accommodation will probably have been already booked by the time you get there, but you shouldn't have too many problems finding somewhere else to sleep for the night.

Be VERY careful of all the drunks: apparently a foreigner was killed a few years back in a drunken brawl. I don't know for sure if this is true or not, but it's best to play it safe and not get too pissed.

If you're going by car, the surrounding countryside is really beautiful in places and well worth a tour. You may be interested to learn that about 40km from the town of Yasothon is a small catholic village (very near Kut Chom) in which the largest wooden church in Thailand is located. The pope went there a little over 20 years ago and even today there are still photos detailing his visit next to the main doorway.

    Good luck!

  17. And maybe I am a <deleted> for making a chapter of my life public property, something she has also wondered.

And maybe I'm not...  Maybe I've just got the guts to be myself and to be honest and share my experience.

...but do you have the guts to go back to your own country, to get a proper job, to establish a career, to get a life, to gain a bit of self-respect and to start earning the respect of others.

There's a big wide world out there boy: winners go out and take what they want from it; only little people stay at home and complain all the time about their bad luck.
