  2. thanks for your valuable input "FR",

I would be most great full if someone can clarify this point for me.

One more confusion, or a silly question,

at the TOP of the  various doc. scanning option and prices boxes (options)

there is a option to skip all the VFS services, I can not do the self-upload.

if one was to skip all confusing pricing options, Can one still take the documents in at the time of the Appointment and get help to scan them in Payed or unpaid.(settlement case)

    thanks a lot.

  3. hi, just been reading your account of VFS global, scanning supporting info document,

firstly thanks for the info provided.

SELF scanning service  or the vip service courier assistants, then pay extra for settlement Visa... etc?

don't know which service or  Any to go for...? How hard to do it yourself, as I am still Here to help my partner.

any input would be greatly appreciated as its all  been a big nightmare

    cheers.

  4. @fractturedRabbi" filled in and submitted Appendix 2, but I think it is from an earlier process; the questions in Appendix 2 have little relevance to the application type you are making. It's indeed not mentioned anywhere in the application, although there is a heading for it in the document upload section. I have read elsewhere that people have ignored it and received their visa, I just did it for completeness sake and because it does not take long to complete"

just wanted to ask...was the Appendix.. 2 form , done online or filled in manual on printed pdf?

  6. For any one looking to get Thai passport for the newborn,

Thai consulate is based in Espainage building shoping mall, 50 yards from the underground bts station Culture centre of Thailand.

One has to take the newborn with them and the staff there will do everything for you, including photos. Just need to get there early.

A very nice place too for shopping and relaxing.

    Hope this is helpful.

  7. Hi, I (british citizon) also have a similar situation where I would like my thai wife and two months old daugther to visit uk within the next 4 weeks. I am applying for a 6months visitors visa for them. My thai wife (been to uk twice before) and the baby both have Thai passports. Can anyone from their experience suggest or foresee what problems I might be facing with this approach. ?

I might like to add, I could not register the birth at the Brithish embassy as I forgot my birth certificate back home, so I went and got the Thai passport for the baby which costs 20baht.
