Is this the man of the attack? How can a charity director rent a house for 1,000,000 baht a month? and why is this news story (above link) so full of lies?

13 Deaths in a month is not a "MYSTERIOUS MASS DEATH" issue, especially not when some died of old age or were eaten by pythons. Strange however is it that so many "DISAPPEARED", we have seen that before in the SONGKHLA ZOO and that didn't end well, now did it?
Chiangmai Night Safari is far from a famous or even nice attraction, it is run as a tourist attraction with zero conservation projects, no proper education program and started many years ago with the plans to even have a restaurant where people could eat wildlife. The place charges foreigner 4 times the local price, the animals are under bad care and don't get proper nutrition. Chiangmai already had a zoo and that should have been enough.

Two foreign men and one Thai girl taken in for questioning, all deny to respond to questions and let their lawyer talk on their behalf. Unusual money trafficking led to interrogation of two foreigners. https://ch3plus.com/news/social/morning/356947

I live here since 1989, same story since ever. An airport so close to Bangkok has jus not so much appeal for most travelers, especially when most tourists love to visit Bangkok as well, or have no connected flights available. We have had so many one day flies walk in and claim they will get it done. Any foreigner that thinks he can change the authorities mind or way of working is filling himself. It works here only from the top down. International flights to Huahin again? Maybe just the KL connection only. Thats it.

Until lats month I used to have over 20 wild boars walking around my property, many of them over 10 years of age. All but one are dead now. The ASF came in from farms nearby and killed all but one. How on earth can they deny the disease is widespread?

Change hotels for enquiries, you can share of course. Some hotels trying to sell a second room, but the Novotel for example at the airport doesn’t require this at all.

China…. The country where their government told them they can’t travel anywhere before the end of 2022. India, really….. why

If your reports are so vague, having no details at all, you would be better off not reporting at all.

Instead of the expensive PCR test they can just do the antigen test, 600 Baht only. We all have to when we travel and when entering or leaving Phuket and Samui it is done in 20 minutes.

Again all these negative foreigners (read *deleted*) with their Facebook doctor degrees and utter disliking of Thailand and its people. There is not other path to walk than the reopening of Thailand right now, with more people going in to poverty than people suffering from covid. Step-by-step we will need to see Thailand opening up and this is the next step. Covid is not going away and the daily vaccinations of up to 900,000 people are leading the way.

Welcome to the "Samui Sandbox"! Authorities doing really everything possible to turn tourism into an even worse disaster for Thailand.

10 million a month, that means 5 million a month fully vaccinated. With this speed (if true!! and who believes them still?) we will be ready in the summer next year! and then can start all over again in August. What a mess have these clowns put us in.

What a whiner... Why would your government have to provide a vaccin to you (and for free!) if you wish to live abroad, 10,00 kms away from your home? You live in Thailand, your choice, grow up and live with it or go back. I do agree that Thailand should be better organizing things here, and taxpayers should get the jab for free, but you can't ask your gov to make this happen far from home.

I see lots of people not wanting to check for covid as they worry they will be locked up for 14 days in these field hospitals, even when not showing any signs. Can't blame them.

Ok besides the fact that this is all <deleted> and that it will never happen; 1,000,000 passengers in one year means about 2,800 a day. With 5 flights a day that would mean that you will
need almost 6 A-380s fully booked!! every day....
does anyone ever do the math before such an event and does any journalist ever check these facts?

The article is hard to read, maybe someone should check it before posting.
Some of the comments are just vile. If you hate Thailand so much, stay off the TV page.

Many ordinary Thai people have lost their jobs, some of them are depending on hand outs of food and millions have zero income at the moment, but the damned politicians and government officials are in business as usual. They see no work cuts, salary cuts or financial consequences, just continuing taking their bribes, stealing people's tax money.
Disgusting.

Why is ThaiVisa not telling us it is the Kasikorn Bank?

This government and their officials have done absolutely ZERO to assist the people and business in the tourism sector. A business sector that used to employ millions of families and brought in huge taxpayers money. While the government says there is NO money at all to help these businesses, they are discussing spending billions on a bridge between Hua-hin and Pattaya and submarines, neither things Thailand needs.
