Best of luck to Macb. Trust in God but keep your powder dry.

The point is not to put your attorney in a position where she has to explain them.

I was merely suggesting how the opposing attorneys and the Courts might construe those remarks. They are on the record.

Quotes:
1)this is only bunch of people saying good luck. how does that hurt ops case. or help it.
2)Your a retired cop and so am I you know what to do, get that kid now and get out of there. It has went to far.
You have had people on this forum suggesting criminal activity and other people offering a place where the Father and daughter can hide. The Court could not only deny visiting rights, but issue a restraining order.

Well if he hasn't closed it he should have a long time ago. The first advice any GOOD lawyer will give you is to STOP TALKING! especially if the client is contemplating legal action such as divorce settlement or child custody. I sometimes imagine Mrs. Macb sitting in a Buriram internet shop with her English reading girlfriends -- or her lawyer -- reviewing and giggling all the actions, strategies or opinions suggested here or what the OP intends to do next... Good luck Macb. Now: clam up!

The OP has not posted now for 3 days so maybe he has solved his predicament. However, he still has not said from what country he holds a passport. What did he actually do in Thailand for 10 years. Depending on those answers, he still might have other options.

OK, I'll take a shot: I have no first-hand experience myself, but from all I have gathered, that for a 3-month B-2 tourist visa, her attitude should be that you do not exist as you are not legally married. She has to qualify based on her own merits... as if she were trying travel to the USA by herself just to visit her friends.
The best one page on the US State Department website to your questions: DENIALS.

Good luck... sounds as if she stands a good chance.

If you apply for Lao Visa after exiting Thailand and crossing the Frienship Bridge MAKE SURE you have a photo avialable for the Lao Visa application. Also, there is a Lao Consulate in Khon Kaen which will do the visa in about 20 minutes for 1600 Baht. Sometimes there are long lines at the Lao Friendship Bridge visa station.

Looks great and I like their eBook -- does Zone 3 include Khon Kaen?

The difference between the DVD and the Passport scenarios is that in the latter case the authorities are already in possession of both the Passport and YOU.

Before you make too many detailed plans, you should be aware that the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane will be closed on Monday, December 10 for an official Thai holiday:
142 Divorces In Just 3 Months Between Thais And Foreigners In One City
in General Topics

It would be interesting to know the grounds of action for divorce claimed by the KK142. One allowable ground is to be seriously ashamed and another the Thai equivalent of 'mental duress'.
