Ordinarily, Bitkub pays 7% VAT. On the other hand, we will not deduct any income tax (10-15% tax) for each trader on our platform due to we do not record each trader’s profit and loss amount, including no service on analyzing profit or loss provided for our customers. Users can calculate the profit or loss by checking from the transaction history that can be downloaded through Bitkub website. You can check how to download the transaction history here.

In case you have an income from our Referral Program over 1,000 THB/month, Bitkub will automatically deduct a withholding tax for our customers. You can also request a tax invoice by reaching out to Bitkub Support Team specifying the period that you would like to get the invoice.

Additionally, we suggest you declare your income from the tradings with The Revenue Department in order to prevent retroactive tax collection.

  2. I have an account also with Bitstamp. The KYC is straight forward and you are able to sell your crypto and withdraw to a designated bank account. On the downside the trading pairs a limited but if you just want to buy BTC and ETH on spot and be able to cash out to Fiat Bitstamp is a good choice. They also claim to hold 98% of the exchange crypto in cold storage.

  3. Your will need to contact Kraken support and request approval to have Silvergate Bank loaded onto your Kraken Account. Sign in to your Kraken account and use this link https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000730691

Once you are approved the process is straight forward. Go to the Funding page and select the amount of USD you want to transfer. You will need to provide your bank account details in Thailand and the intermediary bank in the US.

Silvergate do not use the swift banking system so require an intermediary bank in the US to facilitate the transfer to your bank in Thailand. Bangkok Bank at Kad Suan Kaew can provide you with the address and swift number for Bangkok Bank New York.

I make regular transfers from the Kraken Exchange using Silvergate and have had no issues.

Hope this helps and keep stacking those sats.

  4. I live in Chiang Mai and have traded on Kraken exchange for 2 years. When signing up the KYC process is straightforward and customer support is excellent. Most importantly you can sell crypto to fiat on the exchange then transfer USD back to Thailand. You will need an intermediary bank to handle the transfer from Kraken to your bank in Thailand. I use the Bangkok Bank in New York.

  5. I've just brought some land in Lanna Thara moo baan Ratchapruk Rd on the way to night safari. There are around 6 new houses there for sale and some blocks of land still for sale. Construction seems ok and you can design your own home.

Would you mind sharing with us how exactly you "bought" the land. It's always of interest :)

I paid cash thats all you need to know. :D

  7. Will there be a firework display anywhere tonight to celebrate the King's birthday?

    If so where and when?

I want to take the kids...

Tonight at Ratchaphruek show grounds. The guys setting up the fireworks told the wife that the show starts at 1930 and goes for 30 minutes. Enjoy it.
