At BigC South Pattaya I've seen a new stand inside BigC itself, next to theirs "usual" shelves with mobiles, I guess its a new brand (never see it before), named MTMMobile (dot com in case if you want to check official web site which is mostly in Thai language).

I look for a good agent to manage my condo rental at Mae Ram Phung beach, Rayong.

New World Condotel, walk-in price is 1000bht per night, I can provide lower price - 500-800bht (depends on how much agent will charge).

First line from the beach, swimming pool and tropical garden, free we-fi at the lobby, tennis court and parking, beautiful seaview from 22 floor (the tower is 28 floors high), 56sq.m., aircon, 2 beds.

Even during high season, including X-Mas, I never see more than 10 peoples staying in the tower, usually like 2-5 condos in building occupied, so, as you can imagine, when you stay there you feel almost exclusive - like garden, swimming pool and tower itself with service stuff is exclusively yours. You will not see neighbors unless you want to meet them, but you will have couple of minimarts, restaurants at the beach and resorts nearby, tuk-tuk and taxi service, ATM - all of this walking distance from the tower.

Looking for real estate agent from Bangkok, Pattaya, or Rayong. Ideally agent should manage check-in and check-out, collecting money from customer and, of course, find customers. Maintenance I can manage myself.

My mother have Parkinson decease and recently her health condition went down, now she have really hard time to walk, so need wheelchair and lady (fulltime or live-in) to help her take shower, go bathroom, dress and undress, also help her move in wheelchair around.

I was able to find couple of minimarts with Beer Lao Lager in CarreFour area:

1) 7-9 (yes, 7-nine) minimart across Apus Condo, just follow Soi SS Villa in north direction, pass the turn to CF parking, about one block ahead at your left you will see 7nine minimart, they have 330ml Beer Lao for 37baht per bottle

2) convinience shop right across Arunothai School, have no sign, but easy to find, 330ml Beer Lao is 35baht per bottle

I would like to recommend Mai Ram Phung beach - plenty of places for 400-500bht, just take songthew from bus station then go out at the end of the route, its in the center of the beach, then just look around - any direction will lead you to resort or guesthouse under 600bht

not a good news, imho Gates is rich enough anyway and all this troubles will hurt business more or less

and what about portable software? if you run it from flash sticker how police suppose to detect is it licensed or not?

if you dont need a lot of details, like street-level coverage, why not try extracts from cloudmade.com?

its free, then you can crop whatever areas you need with quantum gis (www.qgis.org) desktop gis application (freeware, too)

then produce static image with whatever dpi you want (possible, since gis data is in vector format); then print it out ;-)

thanks for kind words! usually during my trips I collect tourist maps, then place pois over real maps and add interactivity. different tourist maps provide different interesting pois, I think its good to have em in one piece; also tourist maps usually not detailed enough, in case of online map its easier to get directions.

island have many attarctions and thanks to Rapid Penang bus company nearly all of em easily and affordable accessible by bus ;-)

ie taxi from airport to georgetown cost 30RM, bus ticket is 2.70RM ;-)

CloudMade provides extracts from OSM world map in different formats, divided by countries, from here you can go anywhere in terms of format, as most complicated part - extraction from gigabytes of OSM world map is done ;-)

Thailand is covered relatively poorly, BUT southwest asia in general are not bad, a while ago I made small web site for my travel references: http://www.travelmaps.la

and in recent monthes Vientiane map get awesome amount of details, most of POIs which I added manually now embedded at the OSM (though with the tile map POIs are not clickable)

for Phnom Penh and Angeles osm.org provides better coverage and details than LonelyPlanet maps and imho even better maps than the google and ms provides for this cities

OSM rulez! feel free to contact me if you have any question in regards of OSM gis data, web or local implementation, still with some limitations now all of this are FREELY available, for personal or commercial use ;-)

I dont mind GPS, as I use bus and taxis to go around, however if someone can recommend a good map with a lot of POIs over SWE, will be very grateful ;-)

mapguidethailand.com is OK, but definitely lack of POIs, ie check the free udonmap.com and same location covered by mapguidethailand.com for Udon Thani - good street details for both, but at mapguide less POIs listed...

google maps provide little or no help for independent traveller, and usually GPS devices provide little or no help except driving direction too.

if you ever compared options for hotels, restourants, shopping you have in thailand and what you can learn from available digital maps, you probably feel disappointed as much as I am ;-)

Angkor is the island, some backgrounds still feature re-worked fragments of Angkor temples, but in general opportunity to use backgrounds of one of the world wonders is lost by game creators ;-) In other words, this Angkor game as much related to Angkor Wat as famous Luxor game related to Egypt pyramids ;-)

Gameplay can be considered as one for the classic 3-match types, so its still entertaining, but nothing really new here.

I downloaded this wallpaper from internet, origin is unknown for me, as far as I understand background represent the view on Ko Larn island from the intersection point of the Jomtien and Dong Muang beach, and nice artwork added to foreground ;-)
