I am pretty sure it was at the university and was royal coffee project my guess it is still the same there was a coffee brewer inside and the place seemed very sterile like plain it has been nine years but I am finding everything else is pretty much the same except costs are up I would need to taxi there from the moat area that is why I asked if it was sold elsewhere I am at central plaza so I will look at tops

Ok Thanks for the posts as a follow up we ended up at big C Ayuttaya, Krung Thai Bank, no issues and very quick. I made sure we had crisp new one hundred dollar bills as I anticipated the old ones would not work and this was a Saturday .
Ok next question one final exchange needed in Chiang Mai my walled was not large enough to hold a 3 to 1 size ratio expansion and I would like to shop the highest rate. i may post this in the Chiang Mai forem Thanks again to all.

Thank you for the suggestion, is this different than a standard Krungsri bank because that did not work. I am assuming as you labeled it a currency exchange it is different Thanks

Today we visited my wife's home near Chachongsao we flew in with us currency. I did this some time back with no issues.
Yesterday we went to the bank of Ayutthaya krungsri and I tried to deposit them with no luck I am probably in an area that does not see much us currency
so they were scared to deposit them. Today we are going to the old city of Ayutthaya can anyone suggest or know of any currency exchange offices in that area
I have a backup plan with atm from us but now I am carrying cash that I would like to deposit to my account. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Nine years ago I was in Thailand and had a bank account. When i left I had a small amount of money in it maybe 3- 5 thousand baht.
I still have the book and atm card I am sure the atm card would be expired.
My question is do they close these accounts from lack of usage. I am not worried about the money but will be returning to Thailand shortly
and would like to go and deposit cash and use my atm while I travel.
Thank you

Wow I bought 4 20 pound butter balls last year in the USA and froze three of them They were on sale for $ 5.00 each. Even not on sale they are about $ .69 cents per pound That's a pretty big mark up.I do remember while in Thailand wanting to do the Thanksgiving thing but looked at the turkey prices then nixed that.
I will take a chicken over turkey just my preference.

Thanks for all the replies.
I purchased a backpack that meets their specs I packed it so it was almost full and I was still under weight. I have no issues paying for checked in baggage and will with four legs of this trip. Its more the ease of transportation with taxis or motorcycles or walking.

Kinda of what I thought. That was my experience some time back. I was just going to buy a new backpack that is close to their specs. I have traveled Thailand with luggage and it really limits your transportation options when they see a Farang rolling baggage. I will still try to respect their guidelines. Thanks

I will be doing some traveling in Thailand late this year can anyone tell me if they have traveled Airasia recently.
What I want to know is they have a carry on Baggage limit of 7kg and a size limit also. I have 8 separate flights scheduled
I am trying to do these via backpack and will most likely be able to operate within their rules but are they real picky, like you are 1/2 kilo over or 1/2" to large on luggage.
I just want to be sure because the check in at flight is pretty pricey. Most airports have a baggage thing that can size them to see if they are to large but I have never seen them used at other airports.
Best way to get to pattaya from don muang
in Bangkok
