She's one of the progressives' beloved Ukrainians.
Who also appears to have a nice shape. I'd happily let her wander around my room; just make sure the sharp objects are locked away.
Yes, because all Ukrainian women (if she is indeed Ukrainian) walk around topless, refuse to pay their hotel bills, and threaten to stab taxi drivers. Is that what you think? Otherwise is there a point to your silly post? Perhaps you are one of the gullible taken in by Putin’s propaganda?

Well I think as Thailand continues to attract lower and lower quality tourists, these problems will likely continue as that's the nature of some of the people that are coming here. Lowlifes and dregs.
I agree with you about the declining ‘quality’ of tourists, but the only tourist involved here is the guy who stopped the incident involving two Thais. It’s the declining quality of Thais I am equally concerned about.

In the early 1980s I rented the last house before the klong on Soi 11. The soi was a delight in those days.
I lived there for several years starting in the early 2000s. It was still fairly nice then compared to the S-hole it has become.

You mean other than the fact that he's crushing it in the primaries, his polling numbers continue to go up, and he's gotten more supporters than ever, including Snoop Dogg?
When the Dems lose Snoop Dogg, you know they're in trouble.
If that’s true I just lost all respect for Snoop Dog.

The Dems can let as many illegals into the country as they like for their votes - they aint gonna stop Trump winning in November.
The Dems can push divisive race based politics as they like - they aint gonna stop Trump winning in November.
The Dems can push the women's right to an abortion and the fake 'pay gap' issues as much as they like - they aint gonna stop Trump winning in November.
The Dems and all the RINOs and Swampers are terrified of Trump - and people should really ask themselves why and think. Not think about why they do not like him - and there are lots of reasons because he has a very abrasive personality. But they need to think about what did he do last time he was POTUS that was so 'terrifying'.
In fact all the things they said Trump was going to do if he won in 2016, is exactly what Biden has done (remember Trump will start WW3?). Trump's biggest 'failures' was 'The Wall' - he could not get it done - and now Biden has shown everyone exactly why Trump wanted to build a wall. Relations between the 'Big 3' - USA, China and Russia, have not been this bad since the 'cold war'. World Trade is at an all-time low since the disaster of Covid and how the Dems managed it. Trump is being proven more and more correct, about how he was challenging what all the 'experts' like Fauci were doing, and saying that China was resposible, and that the WHO is 'controlled' by China. And of course, the Russia Gate BS has been shown to be just that - total BS - and the Dem impeachments were as false and abysmal as the Jan 6 insurrection BS.
The aint gonna stop Trump winning in November. He is going to tear it all down and they are terrified - not for the People - for themselves. People are more and more realising that Trump may not be a 'nice guy', but they now understand that all the politically driven attacks the Dems and Media and EU have thrown at Trump, are just 'Fake News'. The fools and diehards will still vote Dems, but more and more People are refusing to be fooled anymore.
Wow. You can rant and rave and toss the word salad almost as well as Trump himself. Relax, take a calm, objective look at the guy and you’ll see, like tens of millions of others have, Trump is a coward, an idiot and a loser.

I cannot bring myself to understand how 45% of any electorate see Haley as a suitable candidate for Presidential office.
In the Guardian it reported that NH, being a state where members of any party can vote in the primaries, that many Democrats voted for Haley, in order to spite Trump. I do hope this is correct and that his standing in the GOP is higher than 54%, if not, he will have a troubled presidency.
I have a similar issue ; I cannot understand how 54% of any electorate see Trump as a suitable candidate for Presidential office.

A reminder to some of the seemingly ill informed posters here. Russia invaded Ukraine, not the other way around.
The majority of the military aid sent to Ukraine by other countries has been used to buy weapons and ammunition to fight Putin’s war machine.
A lot of innocent people in Ukraine have died while people on this forum have nothing better to do than spread propaganda.

Russian National AKA draft dodger.
Who did the translating?
If he is a draft dodger, good for him.

Mang Farang = potato - white.
I don't care where it was derived. It is now used to describe white people.
It’s Man Farang because it is a specific type of potato primarily eaten in Europe originally. I’ve been here 36 years, have never considered the word to be necessarily derogatory and often use it myself when speaking Thai when referring to white foreigners or Westerners in general. What alternative word would you suggest?
As for the guy peeing off the back of a moving Tuktuk, I can think of a few derogatory words to call him, farang not being one of them.

Sometime you just gotta pee. What's the alternative? Let your pee drible down your legs and trousers? This can be a major problem for older men with an enlarged prostate.
Yeah. Better to pee on yourself than other people.

It's a genie question. When I started university I also become self employed and was doing internet gigs on the side. When i finished university 5 years later I had more then 800k Bath in my bank account. And then I could finally concerate on making money and not wasting time studying. That's why simply can't grasp how some people could work for 40 years and they don't have 800k Baht in bank. Like what are you doing 16 hours a day for 40 years that result is 200 Baht in a bank?
I hope you weren’t an English major in university. Why were you “wasting time studying“ there in the first place?

It is interesting that a simple article about the TAT wanting to attract more Canadian and US long term travellers provokes so many twisted souls to post uninformed and frankly stupid messages insulting Canadians. We are not all Justin Trudeau and, given that the chances of him being Prime Minister after the next election are steadily dwindling, these hosers will have to come up with something else.

Obviously, that is no surprise.
What I still find amazing that Thai people again and again vote for (often the same) corrupt politicians and then they somehow expect to have an honest and competent government. That is mission impossible. Is that really so difficult to understand?
To be fair, it’s not always the people they vote for who get to form the government.

What bad behavior? Recording a video stating her opinion is no big deal. Certainly the authorities won't like it. Stalin was intolerant of criticism too.
And so is Xi Jinping. Let her go back to her own country and state her negative opinions of her own country and see how she fares.

"She was asking for it", "Tinder's a hookup site", "She knew what she was doing", will you guys get a grip and grow up!! Even if all the above, which pretty damn nearly, have been quoted in posts were true, if (and I say this again), if she withdrew her consent at ANY time then it's rape, or at least sexual assault, pure and simple.
Any of you who think any different to that makes you someone who any women would be right to be concerned about dating and, it has to be said, make's you a potential sex offender......
just think about it please.
I hesitate to respond as I’ll no doubt be accused of all sorts of sexism and worse. But here goes. Yes, the man is in the wrong. If indeed she told him no, then he he should have respected that.
But a single woman living alone, inviting a man she just met for the first time in a bar to stay the night at her place is, at best, engaging in extremely foolish behaviour.

Call me crazy, but sounds like common sense to me.

You have no understanding of Thailands approach to decision making. Usually research is performed on a subject, data is collected, decisions made on the data and an announcement made. However in Thailand the opposite is true. Here a brain fart decision and announcement is made first, followed by public outcry which is researched and finally the decision reversed. This approach is also useful for the government to gauge just how much it can get away with without affecting front row at the trough.
A good example a few years ago was the announcement, just as people were climbing into the back of their pickups for the annual run home to Isaan for Songkran, that it was now illegal to tavel in the back of pick-ups. Obviously, to everybody else, this without notice decision puts a huge spanner in the works for millions of people as all other forms of transport are talken, booked, unavailable etc. Fortunately one good soul lifting his head from the trough for air, somehow heard the outcry, and possibly concerned the turmoil may affect his revenue stream somewhere, reversed the law just in the nick of time and they all lived happily ever after (well, sort of).
I said it would be a good thing, not that I expected it to happen.

It would be great to hear an announcement from a Thai government that doesn’t require later ‘clarification’.
