  1. Hallo, we planing a car trip to Kho Samui. From where do we take the ferry to Kho Samui, how long is the ferry trip. Also want tip on a good cheep place to stay in Samui.

    Anyone?

Ferry to Samui leaves from Donsak, Suratthani province. There are 2 to choose from. Seatrans ferry takes you direct to Nathon, and just a bit better ferries than Raja. Raja ferry takes you to Lipa Noi, south of Nathon. Raja ferries are filthy and are even older than Seatrans!!

The whole Island has accommodation from 300 baht a night up to infinity, choice is yours, plenty available in all areas. Enjoy. :)

Thank you very much Eric1949 and Rooo for your answer :D Do you have any idea what the ferry cost is for a Vigo whit 2 person?

  2. Just wondering if there are any other lonely souls out there in the area of Mahasarakam who may fancy a get together in a language we all understand properly and perhaps indulge in a beer or three......

Well, I`m from Norway and live in Kosumpisai. <spam deleted> Hopefully I`ll be back before march... :o

  3. We are still thinking about moving to CM, we have also consider Kanchanaburi, and still open for that if we have some good offer.

But tell me why you stay in CM, and not in Koh Samui or some other place?

What is it that make you stay? Nightlife? Cheep? Nature? Whether?

Please. convince me to come and stay CM :o

  4. Depends what hits you I guess, if I recall that's a Camry under that truck, if it was a Fortuner would it have been crushed or would it have been shunted out the way cos of it's height ?

If I had to put money on one or the other, I would go for the Camry for all round safety, roadholding etc, maybe they have 4 or 6 airbags too, Fortuner has only 2, also the chassis on the Camry should handle a front impact better.

I have a Fortuner myself and don't feel unsafe, but I guess that's cos Fortuner get a false sense of security cos of the ride height.

Anyway, Camry or Fortuner against a 10 Tonne truck, my money is on the Truck.

    Get a Truck instead ! :D

Thanks, but I think I stay away fro the truck :o , I have been reading some god crash test about the Camry, but I can not find some crash test for the new Fortuner? Anyone?

  5. My thai girl and I have been talking about moving up to Chiang Mai, and I would like to ask you where is the the best location to bye a house? I want it to be close to downtown, but still it has to be a quiet secured village. I ask because I just dont now where Hang Dong, Doi Saket and Bo Sang is, so can you help?

    Take a look here:http://classifieds.thaivisa.com/real-estate/houses-for-sale/classified-chiang-mai.html

  6. Someone who can recomend some good web developers/designers in thailand with thai prices? I alredy talk to some company, but the price here is (farang price). So I would see if you gays colud help me to reduse the price for making a good website.

I would like to start a website for sale of xxxx, what I want is, that people can upload images to the website. Must have online payment (Visa, Mastercard etc.). I`m sorry for my bad english writing.

  7. We would like to drive our car into Cambodia from Thailand. Me and my thai girl want to drive to Angkor Wat, and I would like to ask if some of you have done the same before?

Can we drive in to Cambodia?

If we can  not, can you help me with how and where to go? Where to stay for lets say 2-3 day? Other thing`s to see close to Angkor Wat?

(Sorry for my english :o )

  8. Where do I go for check if my "product" need a import license or not, and if there is a restriction for the transport? And how do I get a "import license"

To find this out you should contact your freight forwarder here in Thailand. If you do not have a freight forwarder you can PM either Raro or myself, we both work for freight forwarding companies here in Thailand.

Hope your not taking this in the wrong way, but how can I trust you about not stealing my idea, and start this import your self?

  9. If we do that, how about the ownership? 51% thai and 49% to me? is this legal?

that would be the way to go. In a very short future, you will need only three shareholders instead of seven. I recommend you waiting with the registration until it is put into practice.

What I want to import is small spraybox, about same size as a insect killer, hight about 25 cm and a dimater about 8 cm.

What is in the spraybox? Check whether or not it requires an import license or is considered dangerous cargo which results in possible restrictions for the transport.

Once again, thank you all for your time to answer :o

Regarding the ownership, do yo now when we can go from 7 shareholders to just 3 shareholders? Or what is your best guess?

  10. Hallo again, and thank you all for your answers :D

Will it be more easy to put the import company in my thai girls name? I trust my girl 100%, and then some :o

  11. Hallo everybody ;-)

a import company in Thailand (sorry for my english writing).

I think my product will do very well over time i Thailand, because it`s a

product that almost everybody will need, it`s a big hit in Europe and I and some freids can not find in Thailand. Dont wont to tell you any more :D .

Can somebody please tell me what and how I start up, what lisen or paper I need,

    where to go etc.

Is it hard to do? What tax is it for a import company?

Hope you will take your time to tell me in the EASY way :o

  12. We have now found a small house in a village in KK, about 2 km from downtown. 2 bedrom and a small garden. 5000 bath :D

Hose is about 3 year old, and I will see if I can make some photo for you gays later. :o

  13. Need to rent a house in KhonKaen whit a small garden and 2 or more bedrom and in good shape. Price: 0-8000. Please, not a old townhouse.

Can somebody help me and my mia about this? We stay in Kosumpisai for 3-4 more day, so we can come and see if you now about a house.

    Best regards,

    Northai from Norway.

If you want something nice you will be hard-pressed to find 2 or more bedrooms with garden for what you want to pay in the city. The best way is to drive around all the various "gated" communities looking for signs. I have made two trips to KK during the past month and have looked at a number of houses. If you want furnished then plan on 12,000 up. I did see a tiny two bedroom for 7,500 but didn't like the neighborhood. Finally settled on a nice 3 bedroom near the Lake for 10,000 but it is completely unfurnished. That means there is nothing at all; we even have to buy hot water heaters for the bathrooms!

Ok, thank you very much. We will drive into KK later to day and have a look around. We can be contacted on this number if anybody nows some more:0899338308.

    We dont need furnished house.

    Best regards NorThai
