Hi, I am currently on a 1 year retirement extension to stay which expires 19th June. My question is....Am I able to apply at my local immigration centre in Kap Choeng for a 60 day extension of stay based on having a Thai daughter instead of the retirement extension? If so, how many extensions could I do before having to exit Thailand to obtain another Non O visa?
Thanks

As far as I know at this time you might not even be able to get one there even if you legitimize your parenthood now.
No reports for sometime now of anybody being able to get a multiple entry non-o visa in Savannakhet based upon being the parent of a Thai.
You can get a single entry non-o without a problem there or at Vientiane without a problem and then a 60 day extension at immigration.
At this time the only nearby location issuing a multiple entry visa is Penang and you need to show 400k baht in the bank or proof of income.
Thank you again

Hi. I just read somewhere that to get a 90day non-o based on a thai child in savannakhet, you now need court proof of being the father. Can somebody advise if this is true?

No.
You have already entered the country with a non immigrant visa so you can apply for an extension of stay for any reason you qualify for. When you renew your permit to stay all you need to do is supply the paperwork for an extension based on retirement.
Thanks
I am currently on a 1 year extion based on thai child already, so does that mean i can apply for a further 1 year extension based on retirement at kap choeng. Without having to go to laos for a 90 day non O
Thanks again

Yes you can. All you need is a 90 day entry from a non-o visa the basis it was issued upon does not matter.
Okay. I will need to go savannakhet to get a 90 O visa first. Then before that expires, apply at kap choeng for a retirement visa. Then before that expires, apply again at kap choeng for a 1 year extension.
Is that correct? Thanks

Hi. My 1 year extension on my original 90 day non O thai child visa is about to expire. Can I apply at Kap Choeng immigration for a retirement "O" visa with embassy monthly funds letter and other required paperwork?

Hi
Does anybody know what dates that phnom penh thai consulate will be open between dec 26 and jan 2?
Also if i used an agent in Phnom penh to apply a single entry tourist visa , will I need an onward flight ticket out of thailand?

My non B has expired and i have just done a 15 day VOA at Chong Chom. As I have a thai daughter am i able to apply for a 60 day extension based on taking care of thai daughter
-
thanks.
Yes you can. Your wife will need to go with you when you apply.
am I able to get extension of stay at kap choeng immigrationNo financial proof is needed to get a 60 day extension.
The will will more than likely want proof of residence.
If I write my spouse village address on tm7, Will her surin blue book suffice. It has all our names on it. Or, I actually live in bangkok and have ID, tabian baan etc of my bangkok land lady
