So they are calling this disease "X," huh? I guess it was named by Elon Musk?

Just for the sake of argument ... my daughter is 3 years old, and she often says some outlandish stuff that isn't true. So and so hit me (it didn't happen). Or whatever. In one case my daughter had a scrape on her head from an encounter with the edge of her crib, and she said her mom's boyfriend did it. But later she said it was the crib. My point is only that not everything a toddler says should be believed completely. I understand there is other evidence, but a lot of it is circumstantial or hearsay, or based on statements made by somebody else who might also have a reason to be dishonest. A DNA test, administered by qualified professionals and using solid chain-of-custody practices, would be a lot more reliable than any other evidence that I have seen mentioned yet.

"Mr. Rad" indeed. In California, something is sometimes called "rad" if it is cool or impressive (local slang) . I would say this 82 year old dude running at night, or any time of day, with or without a shirt, is more than "Rad."

I have a genuine question: what normally happens in a case like this after the police finish "investigating?" Since there was (as far as the story reveals) no actual sex, and presumably it will be a case of "he said/she said," do the police eventually conclude that the case is weak and let him go? Or does he actually get charged and possibly serve time? Or something else? I am just wondering ... not trying to argue the case either way. Maybe he gets in trouble for something different like an immigration offense and that is the end of it?

I think he actually looks pretty well adjusted. Obviously well-fed, and apparently pretty happy with his life and his job. Maybe a little professional pride as well ... nothing wrong with that.
