Hi,
I'm coming to Thailand for a couple of months on a double entry tourist visa.
Ignoring the obvious security issues I'm wondering if I should bring the $15000 Australian
I plan to spend and open a Thai bank account whilst in Thailand instead of using my Australian ATM card
My bank charges $4 plus 2% for a foreign ATM withdrawal, add the Thai banks 150 Baht and 15 withdrawals would cost me. Correct me if calculations are wrong please.
$1000 @ 2% $20
Withdrawal fee $ 4
Thai ATM fee $ 5.5 (150 baht)
$29.5 x 15 =
$ 442.50
Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a filler for aluminium frames, if there is such a thing?
I have small holes where blind fittings have been removed and i am also considering replacing the door handles which will also obviously leave holes.
get some pop rivets (if powder coated get a paint touch up can paint same colour ) fix pop rivets job done

My wife gets around double that amount. She pays some household expenses, but not all, as she carries supp credit cards for the larger household exps. She would also transfer some of this money into her mother's bank a/c each month. The understanding is that I shouldn't be called on to financially assist any relatives...if she wants to give some money to her mum, sister, or niece...she does it from her monthly allowance. She would also be saving a small amount each month so that her month-end bank balance looks reasonable (i.e., she doesn't spend everything), and in that way her bank account conduct may look more or less satisfactory in the event that we apply for bank loans.
Honestly...
Surely most of these posts are trolls, guys can't be that stupid can they?
Can they?
un opened pay packet and she gives me pocket money enough to buy 4 beers a week (ha ha) :D :D :D

When you are feel you can try to go back to your local order a soft drink or water4 days - well doneThat's 4 BIG steps on the road to Jungwat "Take control of my own life"
Congrats.
Keep it up BIG man.
(your mates should support you) if they dont they are not mates! have a couple when you go
out you will feel a great you can do it.
When you feel you have conquered it your next step is to go back to your local have a couple
of beers only! enjoy them and leave. You know you are in total control when you can have a
drink enjoy it and leave, it is hard but the only way to prove to your self that you are in total control
good luck you can do it
