Mushroom pickers go to jail for about 7 years and Red Bull police killers have charges dropped against them. I wonder which of these two types of people can stuff brown envelopes with more money. I hope that the International Press gets hold of this story. Shame on Thailand.

And that's just the Quarantine part which by the way the cheapest of the 14 certified hotels starts at 35,000 Baht. Here is a report from 1 lady trying to get her husband back to Thailand. Business Class only for foreigners...!! Plus testing before and at arrival at your expense which is quite in some countries.

My europian husband wants to apply certificate of entry to Thailand, but the "alternative state quarantine hotels" are very pricy which starting from 35,000 bath. Why do you offer only 4-5 stars hotels? He also needs to pay for repatriate flight which avaliable only business class for forigners. All economy classs were fully reserved for Thai citizen!
We feel like we will be robbed by the government policy. I dont think all forigners with thai spouse can afford that! Can the foriegner apply "the state quarantine hotel"? We can afford only 2-3 stars hotel, but they won't allow foriegner to stay.

Further to this here is the TV link to authorized hotels / prices and peoples comments in regards to this crazy situation ....https://pinoythaiyo.com/2020/07/02/list-thailands-alternative-state-quarantine-hotels-and-their-costs/

  3. And as I have said in a previous post :

A group of 31 Egyptian military personnel travelled on two C-130 air force planes – flights EGY1215 and EGY1216 – to Thailand. They first flew from Egpyt to the United Arab Emirates on July 6 and left the UAE for Pakistan on July 7. They arrived at Thailand's U-Tapao Airport at 7pm on July 8 and checked into Rayong’s DVaree hotel at 11pm that day.

On July 9, they headed out at 5.30am to U-Tapao Airport to fly to Chengdu, China, on an unspecified mission.

they were operations staff of military vehicles/planes that needed refuelling and a short stay in Thailand.

It all sounds very STRANGE and FISHY to me. What kind of refueling ? If they are referring to the 2 planes wouldn't need to stay in Thailand from July 8th to 11th, no? Guess these poor guys needed refueling also after a brief stop over in UAE and then Pakistan....?? Strange short stop overs? And why did they not stay in China rather than coming back to Thailand on the same day and fly back to Egypt from there? So what could this UNSPECIFIED MISSION quick mission into China could this possibly be...?? Very, very weird....!

It certainly does not alter the facts that this Flight was changed in mid transit - by The Egyptians - to land at U-Tapao, instead of the agreed landing at Swampy.

And also the Government had earlier have strongly denies even having any knowledge of this Flight.

Something is really wrong with this whole episode

It is not "this flight"... It was 2 aircrafts  '"A group of 31 Egyptian military personnel travelled on two C-130 air force planes – flights EGY1215 and EGY1216 – to Thailand"  Source =

    Interesting post by this journalist.

Shocking to discover police are useless and apply stupid rules, but then this is the same the world over.

Good to know what is actually done in CM.

Yes and the main point of his post is not complaining about what he went through in Chiang Mai but rather why does each province have different rules and procedures ? Would be nice if for all provinces they were cleanly standardized and announced so that passengers know what to expect on departure and on arrival wherever they are coming from and / or going to.... and can therefore properly adhere to the procedures and requirements rather than be taken off guard and inconvenienced not to mention the waste of time trying to figure out and provide what is required...

How do you know they need gas ?

They may just need a filter clean. I suggest you call/book a "service/clean" then see the performance and take it from there as you may be paying for something you dont necessarily need.

Well 1 of them is not giving out any cool air and an electric guy checked it and said nothing wrong but it needs gas... ? So I thought may as well get them all done before the heavy heat kicks in as they don't seem to be giving out cool air like they use to and I just cleaned them all end October. Well except for that one that doesn't cool at all maybe I'll try cleaning all the filters again but seems unlikely they would be clogged as I haven't been using them since mid November....

Is this really important news on the international medias or any medias for that matter...?? Jeez! give me a break!...  WHO CARES ?? there are so many other worldwide issues requiring our need and attention but all these posts about the private lives and problems between and with these Star Actors / Singers that over take most of the media platforms is so annoying and really don't deserve any attention whatsoever. But to people who have nothing better to do with their daily lives just jump in for a thrill as their lives are s boring
