I just started a dragon tattoo, it's 9' 4" long and wraps around my leg. The head is on my tummy and the tail just touches my foot. The pain around my knee, (especially on the kneecap), and on my tummy was intense. What do you guys do to cope with the pain? I have many tattoos already but this one just hurt too much.

More tattoos you have/get more pain you will experience!

I am covered my complete upper body and half of my legs and i dicussed this with a few other guys and tattoo artists and they all say the same,more tattoos you get more pain you get!

And there is nothing to do about it...you want to be a tattooed bad ass,then swallow the pain and dont cry!;-)

Ok I read it again and see it was just the ATV he was talking about importing for around a farm yes, just buy it here.

Of course it matters how you import it, ship it in one piece by DHL and see how you go.

I never paid 100% import tax ?

^nikotin, from what I hear the 250 fairly recently passed EPA for Thailand and will be available very soon. I have not heard any reliable numbers. RichardBKK is usually the first to know, but nothing yet at his site. He has, or had, one in his warehouse some time ago:

I just googled the specs 19Hp@7500 and a little less torque than the dtracker....and now a price tag around 60-70000 Baht and thats a cool bargain bike!

In Germany the Price is 1999 Euros so around 80000 Baht,but i saw some special offer for 1599 Euro around 67000 Baht and that would be sweet...

I think depends on where you live,here in chiang mai iwould ride around town without expecting to much problems.

Just yesterday got stopped at a roadblock near the airport,had no helmet,no passport,no driving license,the bike(very old honda dream)has no registration or whatever and the police guy just wanted me to write my name on the ticket....

i think its a cool project,so do it and keep us updated!

Actually I had looked around some forums for this topic, but I found the information confusing and contradictory. One poster (Bangkok Post forum I think), stated that importing a motorcycle was the way to go. Other posts (the majority) seemed to think it too expensive. That is why I solicited the information from anyone who may have actually done it.

The gist of the comments seem to idicate that it is too much hassle and too expensive. Therefore, I will go ahead and sell my ATV and wait and buy a bike when I move to Thailand.

No one pays the 100% import tax

Only reason you would want to import is if you cant find a that model in Thailand or you got a really good buy on one else where. Dont import yourself as it is full of traps for first timers but is possible.

Best bet if you must import is go to a large bike shopshop that has a import licence and get them to arrange everything.

New scooters are dirt cheap,around 1000 to 1500 Euro

Kawasaki is building bikes here so a 650 goes around 250000 baht,around 6000 Euros.

Probably going too fast and slammed the front brake. Bike kept going and crashed into something. When you crash into something, it is usually serious damage with or without abs.

Are there cheap guesthouses in 200-300 baht price range near or at the beach available?

I am happy with a real basic bungalow!

A Guy i knew in Bangkok did that to Germany,the problem is not the export to the eu,the problem is to get al the papers in Europe to get them registrated!

The guy is selling honda clicks and airblades and i know it was a long and expensive way till he got all the papers needed(emmission tests etc...)

i saw one of these seats back in Germany on a big bike and the child ISNT STRAPPED into the seat!The Straps you see are to connect the seat to the bike and the one in front is where the feet are put into!

Woud be crazy to strap a child on a motorbike,555!!
