Does anyone know of any good gyms in Isaan that will take foreigners (other than Legacy) I have heard that Kiatmoo9 is good but have no word as to if they take foreigners

I have just finished private tuition of a 14 and 9 year old in Koh Samui Thailand. I taught them KS2 / KS3 and GCSE work over the course of 9 months in English, Maths and Science.
I am an English male of 21 years and have A-levls in English, Maths, Business and ICT.
I would be interested in job offers from schools or private tutoring, please send me a PM for further discussion.

Going to BKK in a week and I know there are literally thousands of deals flying about, but I was wondering if someone has purchased one recently and thought 'wow... what great value' or simular.

Thinking of posting an XBOX 360 back to England, does anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost to get to the UK and whether it is safe to post it if I package it well?
It is about 5KG in total, thanks in advance

I'd go with Samui.
Depends how long you come for though, I've not been in Samui where it has rained more than 2/3 days in a row without being followed by at least 4/5 days of sun.

Appologies if my spelling is a little off.
I fly out to Bangkok to train Muay Thai for a couple of months, wondering which gym you Nak Muay's would recommend?
Regards and thanks in advance,

OK... So I STUPIDLY bought a return ticket when coming to this beautiful country, I've found out since the ticket expires on 29th September and I want to stay until at least December, I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to book a ticket under 500GBP, my reasoning being that it costs me 75GBP to change the date on the ticket from August 5th, so if it is only an extra 425GBP I would pay it.
So, Thailand to England under 500 in December/January/February... possible?

My name is Marc Aplin,
Having lived and traveled in Thailand for 3 months now I am looking for some Freelance work either Corporate or Journalist based. I've had numerous works published back home in England for companies such as Central Facilities and Phones4U in the form of press releases, and more journalism based works such as Muay Thai (kickboxing) articles for English, Australian and American magazines. Further to this I worked in England as an editor for a publishing company for just over a year upon completion of university before embarking on my travels to Thailand.
For some examples of my work and to enquire further, please feel free to PM me

Was thinking of heading up there on the weekend, anyone got any reviews? Or even better... Photos?

We stay at a villa in Samui but don't seem to have an address, any way of getting letters sent to the post office, etc?
-
Didn't think so... Anywhere I can get his console chipped on Samui?
Seems odd everyone sells bootleg games and no one chips them here, lol.
-
I thought the answer was obviously no, the games they sell on market stalls would not work on a standard XBOX 360 purchased from England. However another user from ThaiVisa said the games would work fine? =/
-
I was told only real games work? =/
-
My brothers birthday is coming up and he has been going on and on and on about a game called 'Grand Theft Auto 4' he has a normal XBOX 360 and it isn't chipped.
If anyone has this game for sale or knows anywhere that will sell a real copy it would really help me out
Thanks in advance!

Is 'The Ultimate Fighting Championship' on anywhere in Samui? I can't find it on Thai cable

Education ED (multi-entry), where you have to leave every 90 days
-
OK, nearly time for my first VISA run... a little nervous as never done one before Can anyone tell me where would be the best place to go and organise one?
-
Hi there, I keep being told that at certain times they run cheap flights from Samui to Chiang Mai, however cheapest I can find is 7000 - 8000 BHT.
Anyone got any ideas on how to find these cheap flights? I am probably going to end up taking the train at that rate =P
-
So I could renew my ED VISA here without going outside of the country... i.e. Malaysia / Laos etc?
-
Well my parents have gone away for the weekend and today I turn on TV only to find 'E16 service currently scrambled' I guess they have to pay the bill, any way of getting it back tonight?
Wanted to flick watch Chelsea and Manchester :'(

I love Samui, if you stay in the towns and near the beaches it is as beautiful and tropical as any island around the world. It is more when you go away from the towns you find the 'dirtier' areas, which in my opinion aren't actually dirty, they are just not yet developed.
You'll have a great time here... been living on the island 7 weeks now, also in my 20's

I was at imigration with a friend the other day as she wanted to extend her VISA by 10 days... whilst there we were chatting with a woman who said she was having her ED VISA renewed there (as you have to every 90 days). I was lead to believe you had to leave the country every three months, am I correct and if so how come she could do it there?
Very confused =/
Cheap Places To Stay Near Lumpinee?
in Bangkok
Posted
I am flyign into bangkok tomorrow night to watch a friend fight in Lumpinee, is there anywhere near by I could stay cheaply for 2 nights - i.e. cheap guest house, etc?
Also I am wishing to store my bags for 2 weeks whilst I travel to Isaan, does anyone know of anywhere?
I am wondering whether it would be cheaper to stay in say Khao San and travel to Lumpinee, or just stay in Lumpinee... hmm.
