OK OK ENOUGH ALREADY!
If this is an April Fool spoof, kindly delete the entire thread; we have enough trouble as it is discerning fact from fiction regarding immigration rules etc w/o jokes.
Even if this is not a joke, it's best IMO to delete the entire thread on 'new' 90-Day reporting as one knows not what to believe now.
Wait a bit and when something credible emanates from our Immigration authorities then begin anew, please.

Has anyone else experienced that for the past week the TVisa webpage font size has been incredibly small, hardly discernible. I hope this is not part of the 'new' layout experience they are experimenting with.
If this is just my own computer causing the tiny font, my apologies; however, all other web page fonts are normal.
Is there hope they will soon reboot to the heretofore normally-sized font?Thank you for your consideration.

Evenstevens quotes B5000 for yearly visa extension including a year's worth of '90 Day' reports.
Thanks for that ES, more than helpful.
Would the others consider letting us all know the prices of their agents' visa services? Grateful....

Visit the shops on the northern outer Canal Rd, half way from Chang Phuek to Wat Pa Pao. There are many selling such bags along with interesting items in canvas and hy-duty vinyl. Google this for the street view:

Full gloss paint, while robust, tends to highlight imperfections in a wall.
A semi-gloss, water-based paint holds up better with cleaning than a flat finish paint.
I prefer a semi-gloss because semi-gloss is easily washed of hand-prints, cat paw prints and the inevitable gecko droppings, without removing the paint.
Always buy 'exterior' quality as opposed to interior quality even when painting just the inside of your house.
Ensure the staff properly shake your cans on their paint department shaker, before you leave: as the staff can forget or are simply lazy. At your work site again stir the paint cans completely yet gently(to avoid air bubbles) every few hours, otherwise you may end up with differing depths or degrees of color. Even the allegedly 'professional' paint teams fail to do this or fail to do it properly leaving a thick glob coating the bottom, as they tend to use whatever makeshift stirrer is around such as thin yellow plastic electrical pipe curved at the bottom, or a splintered piece of scrap wood.
I recommend the Q-con adhesive mortar stirrer fitted to a powerful drill because it does a fabulous job, no mess no fuss. A picture of the stirrer is to the right of the rubber mallet here: http://qcon.co.th/products/.

Thank you. Been wondering when, seems I usually find out after the fact.
Interesting that there are apparently more than one at the SME Center - is there a calendar of their events aval?

Picture yourself hogtied and laid out like a log as tens upon tens of your compatriots are stacked on top of you as you all slowly smother in agony. Suffocation I'd imagine is not a pleasant way to go. The entire slaughter was primitive yet intentionally sadistic. Of course Tak Bai should haunt a decade later, and forever. And forget about Karma, it died alongside them. The gods still weep....

Thanks all. Always wondered about this. One less issue to be concerned about. Appreciated....

British Heart Foundation Campaign
Fun but most important videos on CPR with Vinnie Jones and mini-Vinny to the beat of "Stayin' Alive"; after viewing the first your kids will just love the second.

Why not take a look? I often do, as these teaching videos are such fun.

Did the farmers learn nothing from the Thaksin rice sheme in which they didn't get paid anything until the coup? There's no guarantee in farming, supply and demand determines the prices, are Thai farmers actually that ding-dong? If your not smart enough to make a decent profit, quit the business.
Yes...and the price of the rice in Cambodja and Vietnam is much cheaper and the same quality...Maybe try to explain them that Thailand in not the center of the world and nobody is waiting to pay "double"...
Possibly the Government ought to arrange tours to Cambodia and Vietnam to compare methodology. Best for farmers to hear from other farmers.

Airmail is good. Registered Airmail is better but slightly slower as it has check points en route.
Registered Airmail is way cheaper than EMS, and as reliable. I used to send my tax returns by EMS at a cost of 730B. I have used Registered Airmail for the past two years at about 160B: works well.
Mail your letter early morning and use the airport post office where it gets on an aircraft w/o waiting half a day or more in any city post office.

Invest a few $$ in purchasing 'System Mechanic Professional'. This does everything, yes everything, to correct faults and keep your computer running smoothly. Been using Sys Mech for over a decade now. You'll be glad you did.

Take your brothers'-in-law advice.
Be sure to emphasize you are definitely traveling their advised route. Leave earlier than planned ... as backup.
Your doing this is priceless as it will enhance family bonds and camaraderie. Even if time is lost.

^ A real shame. I'm not Aussie but over a couple of decades I've thoroughly enjoyed The ABC Australia network. Luv the Aussies. May be they'll see the light; but, then again with a misogynist for a PM who can say where his winding roads wind.

Sorry: what's "1n"? How many Talang Wah/ Rai?
Wife bought land in San Sai 1n 1997 for 1m. Built a detached house on it for c.1.5m.
Christmas last year asked the bank to loan 2m for a business. Bank lent her 2m on the basis of the value of the land; which says something about the increase in land value. Said the house was basically worthless!!
Also Thais don't like to buy 2nd hand houses! -
Out a bit from Chiang Mai, but you can find a decent house for 5 or 6 thousand, if you look hard enough. You will be best off having a Thai person take care of you for this, but not a broker. A wife/girlfriend or friend. San Sai is a good place. I will tell you, I found a fixer upper that just needed some TLC...nothing expensive....Lawn care (I do myself) touch up paint, a door or two replaced. The owner is "away" and the previous tenants did not keep it up. Many owners would love a tenant who would pay on time and keep the place up...in return for a moderate rent. Only one month deposit too. Quiet area, no dogs, good people...go figure, as luck would have it. You may not be as lucky as we were (4 bedroom/3 bath with maids quarters) but you will surely find a 2 bedroom/1 bath.
These places are available if you look. Do not get involved with brokers and such.

Oh what tangled webs we weave when first we practice to conceive. But hey, guess there's no spare wombs in Australia.

One interesting exception at Honda Thailand is regarding the Honda City. The New City had a major redesign and is noticeably different to the prior years (2008-2013). However, they are still selling the older body style in a CNG version only. I'm not sure how long this will go on or why it's happening.
Hi.Probably because the latest redesign does not yet have a CNG version. Been there, asked. I'll wait.

No personal experience but If I was in that situation I would be wary of a situation where you pay more but don't get the car back - i.e. you pay the arrears but they sell it anyway. As was mentioned if they repossess that may not be the end - they will still come after you for any shortfall between what they sell it for and what is owed.
"they will still come after you for any shortfall between what they sell it for and what is owed." Too True, considering they may well sell cheaply to a colleague, or family member.

Things like this are always a pain, just hope they really found the problem this time. Intermittent problems can be difficult to diagnose, and a wrong diagnosis is still a possibility.
I do agree with them though not to take it from a new stock car.
" I do agree with them though not to take it from a new stock car." Agree too.
Cannibalizing parts is ill-advised - a very slippery slope; ask any army maintenance depot.

#26 Why would your girlfriend move the motorbike, isn't that a police duty. Trying to keep traffic moving - Again, why? Police arrive within minutes.

Posts 18 and 19 lay out precisely why one should be wary when thinking of buying a second-hand automobile: 'it's only a temporary fix to sell it' and 'Sold it shortly afterwards (never mentioning the hot incident)' say it all.
These two are prime examples of those who would undermine the entire second-hand trade.
Caveat Emptor....

Check the Makro catalogue that appears at their 'office' counter on occasion: they sell other colors as well, to my surprise.
