Totally agree. I go to Surin Beach daily and it has been a very busy high season. Everybody enjoying the selection of bars and restaurants and access to sun beds and umbrellas.
I hear through the bamboo grapevine that leases will be granted to allow businesses to operate legally on the beach. Time will tell.
Automated external defibrillators are relatively cheap and could save lives. Why are they not supplied to the life guards or at least to the ambulances and paramedics ?
I read that an announcement which will clarify these points is coming in July. Personally I think you are right, the administration of the enforcement of collection will prove to be too complex to implement, at least in the short term.
When the rescuers arrived did they have the right equipment to resuscitate the victims ?
Portable AED machines are vital but it seems they are not carried on the emergency vehicles.
