A 0-0 at Samut Songkram was a good result for Pattaya United considering the injuries and suspensions the team were carrying into the game.

  3. Howard Kendall was always drunk at Notts County. Then again I think I would hit the bottle if I were County Manager.

I was at a Grantham game quite a few years back when John Robertson then (and now) with Martin O'neill as manager, came out stumbling and drunk out of the Social club. He slipped and fell on the muddy pitch and couldn't get up. Good mate Martin came over and picked up his friend. ' He aint heavy he's my brother'.

  4. I know its not comparable with top flight football from around the globe, but taking in a Thai Premier League fixture should be one of the experiences a football loving ex-pat should experience. Apart from Chonburi ( League Champions), and Samut Songkram all the teams are based in and around the Bangkok area.

The new season began last Sunday with Chonburi being held 0-0 at Chonburi Municipal Stadium by Bangkok Bank. Port Authority FC play at the Thai-Japan Stadium,Tobacco play at the Thephatsdin Stadium and Osopsapa M-150 at the Klong Chan Ground. Krung Thai Bank play in the Chulalongkorn Stadium and P.E.A. play at the Ayutthaya Stadium. There is usually a game on Channel 11 Saturdays about 4 or 5 pm. Fixtures and results in English http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Thaileaguefootball/

  5. I'm a Notts County supporter who flits between the UK and Thailand. While in LOS I like to see some Thailand League Football. The closest team being Nakhonratchasima FC. I know its late but I am joining the thaimex fantasy football league.
