I am in need of a dental implant and was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a dental clinic in the Bangkok area for this service.

I will be heading to CW in a few weeks to get my second one-year extension of stay based on retirement. Since I will be using funds in my bank account to support my application, I stopped at the bank yesterday to update my bank book. Since my book was nearly full, I asked a customer service representative in the bank to do the update. Instead of issuing a new book, she only printed the last few transactions, omitting several transactions that occurred in the 90-day window that will be of interest to the immigration officer. When I complained about this, the bank gave me a letter (stamped and on bank letterhead) showing the missing transactions. Just before going to the immigration office, I will get another letter from the bank verifying my current balance and update my bank book again. Will the missing transactions in my book cause any concerns for the immigration officer?

I have to get a replacement passport soon because my current passport is nearly full. After I receive my new passport from my embassy, will Thai immigration transfer my current extension stay and reentry stamps into my new passport? Does this need to be done within a certain timeframe or can I wait until I apply for my next extension of stay (due in May)? Thanks for the help.

Since I have not been able to get the online procedure to work, I need to make my report in person. As a resident of Bangkok, what are my options? The immigration website says Bangkok residents should report to Chaeng Watthana but I would prefer to go to an immigration office closer to home (Sathorn area). Is that possible? Thanks.

There are several reasons for getting the contact your local immigration office message. It means your record could not be found or at times it could be that the system cannot access the database.I am having a problem getting the online 90 day reporting to work for me (keep getting message to contact immigration office). I have read this entire thread and tried all the suggested tips. Just wondering: this is my first 90-day report ever, have never done one in person or on line before. Could this be an issue? Thanks.
Even if you got past the first step and got a pending application it probably would not be approved because it will be your first report. You need to do your first report in person.
OK just as I suspected. Thanks for the quick reply.

If I apply for my residence certificate at Chaeng Wattana (where I did my last 90-day report), how long would I have to wait to get my certificate if I am willing to return to the office to pick it up? My drivers license expires in less than 3 weeks so I don't have the time to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

I have a related question about 90 day reporting. My next report is due on June 2 but next week I need to visit the immigration office to apply
for a 1-year extension of stay based on retirement. My question is: does my visit to immigration next week reset my 90 day clock or am I still
required to report my address on June 2? I am leaving the country on June 12 so would like to avoid an unnecessary trip to immigration if possible.Thanks.

I have been living in Thailand for the last few years on 90-day visa exemptions, which I get as a citizen of S. Korea every time I enter LOS. I will be returning to Thailand next week from Europe and will, hopefully, receive a new 90-day visa exemption. Since I have recently turned 50 years old and have the required funds, I want to get a "retirement visa" to avoid the stress of having my passport scrutinized every time I leave and reenter the country. My question is, can I apply for the non-immigrant O visa after I arrive in Thailand or do I have to go back to Korea or another embassy outside of Thailand to do this? The information on the various websites seems contradictory on this issue but maybe I am missing something.
If I can do this while in Thailand, can I apply for the visa as soon as I arrive or should I wait 60 days for my funds to season? Will I need the medical/police reports? Will a few years of 90-day visa exemptions in my passport be a problem? I am living in Bangkok. Where would I need to go to apply? Thanks for the advice.

My air con in my Nissan Versa needs to be serviced but I have been unable to find a garage in Bangkok that will do this work. Has anybody found a reliable garage in Bangkok that can do repairs to an auto air con? Thanks.
