Hey guys I need some help on an issue,
I applied for my visa back in the usa for training muay thai, i gave them all the documents and was stamped. I am in Bangkok and I want to extend my visa further it expires in the 22/sept/12 I was not aware the visa they gave me was a non-b immigrant visa(work visa) I am not working here im just training, I went to the embassy today here in bangkok and they told me you have a working visa? And in order to extend I need a work permit ect? What the heck Im so confused and I wont want to get into any trouble here please help!

Sawadee,
i am planning my trip to thailand. Ive got my ticket date set for april1st-sep30. i went to the embassy to apply for my visa(i know its really late) and i was missing a document from the gym stating the invitation to come train at the camp(i didnt know i needed this), because i was trying to get a 3 month visa, and then extend it in thailand. they told me to go and get that information and bring it by wed, my trainer here is not able to get that information in time... So i was wondering could i just keep the same dates on my flight and apply for a tourist visa and once getting to thailand extend my stay when i go to the embassy there??
please help my dates arent too far away
