Does anyone have any contacts for ad hoc work or temporary contracts

I have been a Rig mechanic for the last 25 years but have recently been pulled out of Iraq due to the trouble they are having.

Looking for any contacts for ad hoc, temporary work so that I can keep my bank balance topped up till they sort there shit out.

I am currently working as a MPD supervisor for a service company.

If I am to further my career I am going to have to obtain my IWCF ticket.

I have 5 years experience in MPD but I am not from a drilling background, how easy is this course to pass, is there any good books I could read to get an idea of the sort of questions they will be asking.

I assume the course work you do if understood tells you all the answers.

Also could anyone recommend a course that would be suitable here in Thailand

I get mine from Leedhams, they have a place in Thailand but if they dont have what you want they can get it from Singapore.

I will be travelling back from working in Kurdistan, flying via istanbul turkey.

Work have arranged my tickets and it's only a one way into thailand.
