    Quote from Thaiger link :

"The Thai maid added that suicide was possible because Vachaudez had financial problems and had divorced his Thai wife. According to the maid, Vachaudez had been running a resin casting business in Thailand for over 10 years and recently ran into financial problems."

"Vachaudez used to live in Chiang Mai with his Thai wife and children but they divorced. The wife and children later moved to live abroad. Vachaudez once told the maid that many of his friends had committed suicide and that he would do the same one day."

Committing suicide with a bag over your head is virtually impossible. your enormous need for air forces you to open the bag. Only under special circumstances, for example comatose drunkenness or stupor due to poisoning, should you not open the bag. The coroner must give a definitive answer on this.

Phuket has launched the Phuket Crime Free scheme, an initiative aimed at safeguarding international tourists during the peak season.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Monday, bringing together both governmental and private sector entities. Among those involved are the provincial administration, provincial police, tourism police, immigration office, and provincial land department office.

Private sector representatives include the Phuket Chamber of Commerce, Phuket Tourist Association, Phuket Real Estate Association, and the southern chapter of the Thai Hotels Association.

Superintendent of Phuket Immigration Police, Thanet Sukchai, highlighted the pressing need for such a scheme, stating that the high season typically sees the arrival of more than 200,000 visitors every month, reported Bangkok Post. A surge of such magnitude raises concerns around crime rates and illicit activities, particularly drug-related offences.

Any disclosuresnabout exactly What they will start or do already?

  3. That's one right step in the right direction. Traveled all over the world, to modern countries too?

The more undeveloped and distrust the more paperwork has to be filled in at arrival and even sometimes at departure. Same for the visa's and residence permit. My Thai wife got her first residence permit for 5 years, the second for 10 years, which would still be valid now, but she has already obtained the Dutch citizenship. No reporting at any department during the 5 or 10 years permit.

  4. The position of the Thai government to be neutral is like a message: "Thailand does't care about the enormous suffering of the attacked people of Ukraine. We go on as if nothing has happened. We only think about our income from the Russian tourists". I consider this as a cowardly and greedy behavior. Imagine that Thailand was hit by a powerful nation and was bombed and tanks shooting around and no one would realy condemn or do anything to the agressor. How would Thai people feel then?

Let's not forget Thailands best mate is China.

Does China have influence in Thailand? Yes

    Does China like democracy? Nope

Mr. Xi started dressing like Mao. Notice anyone else who wears the same shirt?

Actually China's financial imperialism is a threat to not only Asia, Africa and the poor eastern Europe countries are already "invaded" by huge Chinese companies which influence local government decissions...

  6. A "leader" with too much self interest and willing to conduct severe corruption should not be the "savior" of this vunerable nation. So many quality actions have to be taken by the Thai government. Only a true and wise people and country loving person and a progressive similar cabinet can bring Thailand forward as a modern quality state. In my view is Thaksin not that kind of statesman.

  7. The civil registration is very poor in Thailand. Remember the over crowded busses leaving Bangkok to all directions in Thailand. There has to be a much larger number of infections which are likely not registered. The normal rate of spreading the virus is 1:3. So this number should be rapidly increase exponentially. So beware of a later outcome of much higher risks than it seems to be now....
