I like to buy a brand new (or nearly new) TUK TUK to use in Thailand..........I can only find one maker Expertice CO.

Anyone knows about other places to check ??

I would also like to know if anyone knows what to do about registration..........I only get the tourist visas, since I dont live there permanent....however I do have a Company (property).........any Ideas ?

I am 48, married last year to my beautiful thai lady. My now wife has a degree in Marketing, been in Thailand all her life. one past marraige. I have a company in USA, with my manufacturing done in THailand. I come home to Thailand every two months. Stay for one month. While this may seem like and ideal situation I would like very much to bring my wife to USA so she can see and help in the business from the states too.

I blame all the rest of mindless Americans that make up the rules with NO idea as to what they are doing. In a final agrument I can only think of what is happening right now to the the global economy.

The US Dollar is the strength dollar that many nations base their economy on. The USD is weak, foreclosures are now over 1 trillion USD. Auto manufacturers are dying, industry is leaving USA making or leaving Americans without work to pay the bills. The gov raises taxes more and more to its now un-employed citizens.

Since 2006 more Americans with record breaking numbers leave USA for vacation. WHY ! Well I know !!!

Soon if USA continues with its supposed PERFECT way of life that it wants to imply on others, one day soon the IRS will knock on your door about more taxes, and guess what, theres no on home they have left the country to live in a place and way that is simple without overbearing rules regulations and taxation.

The man of 60, I know what he is thinking, my heart goes out to him, in closing, I guess within the next year or two I will see you in Thailand living the comfortable life. Lets have a beer and discuss " THE GOOD OLE DAYS "

I read many of the posts BUT no one offered information about walking the pet for him to use the bathroom. YES this travel can be stress on the animal. For me, my little guy is a 4 # pom, he is beyond spoiled and would not survive in the lower deck. It is a long flight from Detroit to Japan, he will need to GO, I plan on taking him as carry on for my final flight to BKK there he will have his NEW permanant home with my wife until I am able to move there myself.

My concerns are his spoiled and pampered ways. I rescued him from abused at 9 months, he has been cared for as well as the King. His early abuse made him affraid of many things as things were thrown at him, beat, loud noises send him into deep tremble state, he is better now with me for 7 years, but he still remembers some things.

My biggest concern is his comfort and he makes the trip without going into shock. And his time to use toilet. The next flight typically departs Japan to BKK in about 1 hour, there is not time to exit the terminal going through customs, returning and catching the next flight, CAN HE USE the outside at the gates in any way.

Knowing this answer will put both of us at great comfort.

Added he's never been in a flight box before and I am getting him used to it now. SLOWLY,

He is the most well mannered dog having and making use of his over 600 comands not only in speech, but signal,and sound. He never needs a leash but I do put on him, as he went to the Perry Georgia dog show only to hopefully find a girlfriend and no one there could believe his nature. He didnt mind seeing other dogs, and remained a perfect disaplined little man without ever saying a word to him. Everyone wanted him to be in the show. But he is just my little guy !!!!

Again ---- How about after the long flight can he use facility without problems of exit and return into terminal and customs.
