Dog made a full recovery managed to get anti cobra venom in time from the local hospital or vet . Got a spare anti cobra venom in the fridge now just in case

Is it possibly to get a DL on a multiple entries tourist visa,application will be at the Nong Khai licence office. I'm from the UK and hold a UK driving licence

First trip to Thailand was back in 1979 aged 27, I found many things surprising,

But one thing I shall never forget back in 79 was being stared at by so many Thais

as I walked on the city streets, It made me feel a little uncomfortable, but the people were amazingly friendly

And once I remember being asked by a Thai friend if I would permit an old lady to touch my arm as she wanted to know what a Farangs skin felt like!

Where can i buy some grass seed for my lawn , i'm up close to Nong Khai just near phon phisai l've seen grass being sold at the garden shops but can't find no grass seed . i did ask the other half but she seems to think you can't buy any here any idea's would be great .

Speaking as someone who worked on my wife's rubber farm for 6 years without a problem or work permit, I would say don't worry about it. Most of the locals were happy to see a farang doing the same work as them.

You were lucky, any Thai who is pissed off with you at any stage could report you. Then you will be jailed, fined and deported.

You have to do without your wife for a while.

I hope the OP likes working night shift, as that's when most of the work is done.

Night shifts don't worry me as i normally work in nightclubs ( bouncer ) at night .

Lucky it's only the parents and our son in the family as she's the only child

Me and the wife (thai) are planning on going back to live in thailand , if i was to work on the family rubber plantation would a work permit be needed to do this . We will be in the north east near nong khai area,and if yes how do we go about doing this !

Just past Tesco's on the main road into Nong Khai there's a newish gym been open about 1- 2 years as i remember not sure about times or price's , but you can see it from the main road ...... hope this helps if you find out the price's please let us know ...

I have 2 dogs a Alsatian and a Rottweiler the best protection every, if you train a dog properly you have no problem with them and the thai people are really scared of them you don't need a gun get a dog
