  1. sabaijai you say ajrn noo is the picasso of sakyantra, are you saying ajarn noo is the best artist around doing sakyantra.

if after i get a sakyantra i want it removed because it is too powwrful or some reason, is it possible to get sakyantra's removed?

  2. i am scared to get the sakyantra that protects against weapons incase of emergency and i need to see a doctor but the doctor cannot cut through my skin or if i need a simple blood test but the needle won't go through my skin???!!!! :o

  3. i read about this man who after getting a sakyantra felt very confident and fearless and joined the army and went to get another sakyantra to protect from bullets before he went to war, but before he had a sakyantra he had no intention of joining the army. i am scared because i don't have any sakyantra now but when i get one i don't want to end up like that guy. :o

  4. when i travel to thailand, what is the best route to wat bang phra? stay at bangkok and go to wat bang phra by tuk tuk, how much would a tuk tuk cost to go to wat bang phra? which area of bangkok is closest to wat bang phra? is wat bang phra even in bangkok?

  5. ok i have no response yet but more questions :o when the master does a sakyant. the master does the tattoo then the blessing for the tattoo, right? so if the magic is in the blessing then what is the need for the tattoo? what day is the sakyant festival being held next year at wat bang phra? sabaijai you mentioned before the "gecko sexual union" what does that mean, does it mean the person wearing the tattoo will have a life partner?

  6. sawadeca hello everyone !! :D how are you all?? well i hope , i am well also. i am planning to go to thailand as soon as possible this year to get my first sakyants. i would like to get the old man begger turned millionaire, if any one has any info on this sak yant please share your knowledge as i am still very unaware of many sakyants full descriptions. i also want a sakyant that will make my be in great shape (not fat, healthy, fit), and a sakyant that will make me the best terms.. good in bed !! :o but i don't know if there is such a sakyant?? last but not least a sak yant that gives me much power/energy. i'm wondering if i should get the sakyant done from a monk at the famous wat bang phra, or the more expensive ajarn noo? when i was younger my mother told me story of hanuman, and now i have seen there are hanuman sakyants i am strangly attractracted to having one of these hanuman sakyants but i have no knowledge of what the many different hanuman sakyants are capable of doing. there are many other god like sakyants that are attractive to me. but of course i don't know what they are either. i was looking at spencer's sakyant site to find his address to ask him these same questions but i cannot find his email address on his site, or maybe ask him to see me when i go to thailand to help translate. so thankyou for reading, and if anyone has answers to my questions or added knowledge that i am seeking, please reply. goodbye

    :D

  7. Sabaijai i have read in your comment on the angelina jolie forum that her tiger sak yant is for giving her physical strength, but is that same with all zodiac animals or are they all different like because the monkey is smart te monkey sak yant will give her brain power ?

  8. hey i read in another one of your quotes that your sakyant talks to you, what happens, what is your sakyant for? so i am going to thailand in one week and i'll be in phuket so i won't have the chance to get a sakyant yet, although some time late this year i hopefully will have made my choice to do it

  9. I just looked at his website and a cell number is listed, but not an email address. I would suggest signing the guest book and leave a note there for him OR call him on his cell.

Yes, a monk gave me a yant. I was the only foreigner there. I had a translator (my girlfriend). It was very painful, but then again, it was my first tattoo. I was a little concerned about diseases; however, I noted that the monks soaked the needles in alcohol. If you want, you can also bring your own alcohol for them to clean it in.

The monk will chose a tattoo for you if you don't choose one; however, I was drawn to Paedt tidt (see attached picture). I didn't know what it meant until later, but I was just drawn to it. Before I saw this tattoo, I was going to let a monk choose, but after I saw it, I knew it was the one. Even if you don't get a tattoo at Wat Bang Phra, it might be worth a trip to see the people get tattooed and they have the tattoos they give on a scroll on the wall. I just checked out Spencer's website and saw one that I liked. It has to speak to you since there is no erasing it. With that said, I am not sure if the monk will tattoo you with ink; however, I would chat with Spencer first. He himself is a practitioner of the yant tattoos. Perhaps he can tattoo you, plus he is more accessible than the temple. I had to pay 1600 baht to rent a car for the day while Spencer is accessible by skytrain then taxi.

I chose to go to the temple because I wanted the experience. Not to mention the cost (about 6USD). I love the symbolism and history of the yant tattoos. I wanted to experience the ritual at a temple in receiving one. I also didn't go to famous practitioners because I am a firm believer that we are the makers of our destiny/karma. Reading a book on buddhism, it said that no one can help us get to where we need to be and no one can intercede on our behalf to help us reach that happy place. I believe more in Karma that I do in the magic of the tattoo, but that's not to say I don't respect it. I wear it with pride.

Are you in California? I see the CA by your name. I'm in San Francisco

Check out the other thread in this forum http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51445

hey! i'm in australia, i have never been to america. the CA stands for being polite like males say crup and girs say ca, you're girlfriend will know what i'm talking about. my mother is thai & father english scottish so the i have been exposed to the side of thialand's magic, and yes karma is real and more impotantly you're tattoo' magic is real too wether you believe it or not. whatever your tattoo is designed to do it will happen because it is magic, spells, chanting whatever people call it. this will also e my first tattoo! :o

  10. try emailing Spencer Littlewood, the creater of the website. He's a nice guy. He was near Wat Bang Phra when I received my first Yant. He offered to meet me at the temple and translate for me.

oh wow! i appreciate you replying to me :o may i ask what you got and the rules for your sakyant?, i don't to invade your privacy, i just want to learn the many different sakyant available. i'll be sure to ask spencer littlewood in the near future thanx :D is this spencer little woods email address ©www.sak-yant.com , how long after you email'd spencer littlewood did he reply to you? (so i can plan a journey to thailand at the right time.) you got your sakyant done at Wat Bang Phra i am guessing, is it true the monks choose the sakyant for you? did you catch any diseases from the needles they used for your sakyant (i am a afraid to catch a disease from the needle) :D how do you know which sakyant to choose for your self because there must be so many unknown to first timers like myself. i am a female so will monks tattoo me? why didn't you choose to get a sakyant from a big name like ajarn noo, i am thinking about the different powers monks and big names like ajarn noo have, like which one would be the best master to choose.

I have also made a thread in general topics which has been going about a day now which has some good info if anyone is interested. Here's the Link

hello, sa wa dee ca ! i am also trying to find meaings of different sak yan to get on my self and i have not found much. i think the best thing to do is go to a monk and see what they offer. this link sakyant.com.au is popular. i read in another thailand forum from "sabaijai" said the tiger tattoo is for physial power and the sak yan on angelina jolies left shoulder is for good luck and success in one's career. :ohttp://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...44506&st=25 and is it true that monks decide the tattoo for you ?

  12. I accompanied a friend to Ajahn Noo's temple-like studio (which is in Pathum Thani, not Bangkok, tho I suppose PT can be considered part of metro BKK) a couple of months ago. The five lines Ajahn Noo tattooed behind Angelina's left shoulder are rows of khawm, Cambodian script used for Pali 'seed' phrases taken from Buddhist scripture and used in sak yan (magico-religious tattoo art), and are supposed to bring good luck and success in one's career,

The tiger sak yan evokes physical power, and is a favourite with Thai kickboxers and soldiers.

Most foreigners who visit Ajahn Noo are given the five-row tattoo as an 'entry-level' tattoo.

I think Angelina's tattoos look great, but then I appreciate tattoo art in general. As for it's being fad, no doubt many people see it that way but the practice has been around for thousands of years. As decoration, tattooing may come and go with fashion trends but as a ritual form it will probably be with us as long as humans continue to create art.

    Buddhist tattoo discussion

hello, sa wa dee ca ! how are you all . i am VERY INTERESTED in any forms of magic.. and have been searching about sak yant and if you or any one else has the information i need or any other kind of information please inform me , i will apreciate the comments :D what are the rules of wearing a sak yan. what are the many different sak yan available. do many people recive a blood disease form the needles the master uses. are the monks at for example wat bang phra have the same power as the bigger names like ajarn noo? what happens when you disobey the rules of wearing a sak yan besides loosing power, for example people go crazy and life fo them becomes harder. a question for you sabaijai, the tiger sak yan gives because physical power but do the other animals of the zodiac give other powers for example the does the monkey give the wearer smarter ideas because the monkey is smart or all the animal zodiac give the same physical power ? thank you!!

    :o:D:D
