Why not just walk in your doctors with her passport & say "hi i have come to register my wife with your practise".

Once you are married in the UK you must apply for a settlement visa. When this is issued she is free to work in the UK, she must apply for an NI number etc. I believe at the moment it is taking around about 4/6 weeks for a 2 year settlement visa application to be processed.

I used the Danish Embassy in Hull it cost £5 postage to London it took 3 weeks to arrive. A friend of mine used the same place & travelled to Spain without any worries without travelling through the Country of issue first.

It tends to oil the wheels some what in my experiance.

Just had a quote from the builder think he is having a laugh he wants 3000 THB per metre .He said the plot is 117 metres that comes to 351,000 THB the land is 200 wah or half a rai area i think cost should be around £1000 ish.

My wife said they were the same questions if that helps, anyway she studied it every day and passed.

For the confused amongst us my plot is 200 wah 800 sq meters price 1 mill baht ,

800 square metre plot thats not big at all i have offered him 800000 THB i think we have some confusion here on the size of the plot.

Its 800 square meters the plot its not cheap, also i know the builder he has more to lose on land than me he has built 4 houses for friends and lives next to the plot. I have chanot copy in my hand and he is a decent guy known him 3 years but i will use lawyer so is it priced correctly ?

I have been offered 200 wah of land off sukimvit road behind non nook gardens im very interested in the plot asking price 1 million baht . Is this the average going rate for land in the area as im confused at some of the prices they seem quite expensive.

They are not to strict on the rules we got one from the Danish embassy in Hull and flew straight to Spain without any problems.
