  1. yes doctorman you are right i always get the 2 mixed up, and its almost 2 1/2 yrs since i lived there now, no excuse i know but what the hel_l we got it right in the end.

as for the seafood resteruants in ban saray ive had a few bad meals there so i never farvoured the place but thats just my opinion, however there is a place called the ban saray club owned by an farang which is also good for a quite drink, you need to go over a little bridge to get to it.

must say though that ban saray beech is a great place to go and watch the sun set.

  2. ill just reiterate what Buriramboy said we used to live quite close to Sattahip hosi, its as good as Bkk hosi and about a 1/3 of the price and the doctors speak just as good english as in the bkk hosi so why would anyone go there if its so expensive?

i can only assume they think were all rich and stupid.

  3. Lat time i was there i noticed a lot more farangs than before, the fairy land is now a tesco. all the decent bars are accross from Sawon park but beware one or two of them can be a bit rough, 2 xmases ago someone was shot at one of the bars so i was told . it seems to be all the young Thais against Thais so not a real prob for the likes of us, i just wouldnt want to be around with guns goin off an all. the Big c is a good place to eat as there's a lot of choice.

  4. Theres a couple of Saunas in Patters theres one on 3rd road, thers also one on Pattaya Nua which mainly German. but my favorite is the one on soi soi 10 just up from Mike shopping. now its only 150 bhat but if you ask theyll give you a card which entitles you to 10 saunas for a 1000 bhat a saving of 500 bhat. hope this helps.

  5. Brings back some happy memories, we used top live on Ban Budsaba which is about 4 ks from wat yansagaram. in answer to how far it is our house was about 15 ks from Patters so i guess its about 19/20 ks to the temple and golden Buddah.

  6. best seafood restaruants are in Bang lamung which just past the Ambssodor Hotel on the way to Sattaip, if you turn right at the lights about a mile past the ambassodor and follow the road you will come to 5 yes 5 of them on the right hand side on the seafront.

for us the best one is Preecha seafood, me and the family always use this one.

as the are cheap fresh and much better than anywhere in Pattaya,

you can tell this by the amount of rich Thais who eat there infact that seems to be where they all congrgate early on a friday evening on account of all the Merc's BMS AND Range Rovers parked there so be warned be early.
