Accounts are okay, they use their ATM card here to access the UK. However the problem will arise when he dies that she has no access to insurance policies etc.

Have a neighbour, from the Uk who is 88. He has had SD now for the last 5 years and his wife (20 years married )looks after him for 100% of the time.

Does anyone know of a way she can legally gain control over his bank accounts, pensions etc as he is unable to even speak, let alone write.

Well the wife bought a new water machine - those with the blue bottles, not the white "Noodle Shop" type - and we have a major situation here. No bottles, except for the one supplied. The local guy can only do a one-for-one change.

No real problem except - she is 7 months pregnant and I would like to have 5 or 6 in house for her. If you've been through it, you will understand the gravings they get. hel_l the last one cost me a fortune in liquorise (sorry for the spelling).

So if anyone knows of a supply, or where I can buy more bottles, close to P'Lok, please reply soon.

Stayed here last weekend. Not sure of the web for them, but a google will find them.

400 a night per double.

Very clean, rooms large but basic, friendly staff.

Location - pass the JetJiffy just before the Cactus Resort, turn right at the lights and it is on Soi 5 about 100mts on your left.

Breakfast inc - only coffee and toast

Just finished playing a weekend of golf in KK. Found a great course at the Railway Station - about 200 mts down the track from the Station. 360 inc Caddies - who are very knowlegable about distance etc. Only 10 of us on the course and this was Saturday morning. Never found anything about this course on thaigolfer.com etc, just happen to use googlearth.

Also played at the Airport - good, but don't get behind the Generals in their 6 and 7 balls - 2 hours for 5 holes!!!

P'Lok Try Lady Janes Bar (Chris & Jane)- 200mts up from the Pailyn Hotel. Busy Fri/Sat nights.

Does anyone have info on guesthouse/hotels in Phetchabun. Planning a couple of days playing golf in the area this weekend.
