Since company ( in theory ?) would be Thailand (?) based, WHY would you ONLY want foreign workers - does not compute.

YOU can own a company even if you do NO work at that company - hummmmm, how does that jive?

    TNX for your reply

It is a small company, at the beginning it is only my thai girlfriend and my friends girlfriend from Laos will be working.

  2. My Thai girlfriend and my friend are going to start a small restaurant and will hire my friend's girlfriend who is from Laos. The company will be in my girlfriend's and my friend's name. What are the rules if we are going to employ people from Laos regarding minimum salary and share capital for the company? Do we have to invest 2 million baht in the company?

  4. "Adisai insisted that a standard escalator is strong enough to hold the weight of 500 - 600 kilograms per square meter."

Meanwhile, the Building Safety Management and Inspection Association offered some pro tips on how to use an escalator safely, Thai PBS reported.

    6.

Do not put heavy objects onto escalators.

  5. Theparak ended up making seven transfers, spending a total of THB400,000, to a Kasikorn bank account under the name Karnchana Maklang, a typical Thai woman's name.

It seems like she got scammed by a Thai lady in USA

I'm waiting for "The shoe's on the other foot now" comments!!! whistling.gif

    .

Yea, and they would be highly inappropriate and indicative of cold hearts and immature mentalities.

I feel sad for the woman. 400k is an awful lot of cash for a Thai nurse to lose. Hope the guy gets in a head-on with a telephone pole on the way to the bank.

Does Facebook not cooperate in fraud investigations? Anybody have advice how she could pursue such a process?

  6. I can highly recommend the guy who did our house. He does a great job with the design and also does the build out. He's done a number of showrooms around Pattaya, stores in Central Festival, and lots of homes and condos. He's not the cheapest, but does a great job and stands behind his work. Great guy to work with. I'll PM you his contact information. He speaks a bit of English, but only a bit.

Nice job. May i have his contact information too ?
