Think this wicked crime was a chance to get rid of the guy who has done nothing to improve the train network since i have been here. If took at least 10 deaths at various train crossings here in Hua Hin over the past few years before proper safety measures were put in place.

How many trains derailed last year.. how many went unreported....

The saga of the new high speed rail link to the south which is no doubt being viewed as a chance by all high ranking officals involved as a get rich quick scheme, no doubt causing costings to be inflated and negotiations to break down.

Time to get a young smart guy in charge, maybe educated in Europe who understands how a great rail network can hugely help Thailand and all of its people.

As to the death penalty.. for evil people like this punk on the train... bring it on. This little girls parents will suffer for much longer....

I have a smilar problem with my father in Hua Hin, I really feel for everyone out there dealing with this problem - it really is soul destroying to see someone very close to you become a different person. At the moment we can handle dad with a full time carer but thats coming to an end so my search for a good care home is on.

Thoughts with all of those in the same situation.

Palm Bistro in soi 88 does a cracking roast, think around 400 baht but its a real good one, some great choices in real ales also. Buffalo Bills has always been a good one and if you wanna travel to Pranbrui the Beach House Kite surfing place does a beauty but you have to preorder.

Havnet tried Tiks but may well give it a try, her food has always been very good but didnt know they did a roast.

I went last Friday, really cool place, I will be going regularly now! Nice friendly feel, cold beer didnt eat but I am told that the food is good too!

We are curently bottom and yes I think ur right about TNT being top!

Best Beans Coffe in Khao Takieb has a great area on the second floor and god internet, again you have to have some food or drink.... which is no hardship there!

Cool Breeze is a new Tapas restaurant just before Brasseire de Paris, lovely food and good value - bagutues are great.

Swiss restaurant just beside Col Breeze, great quality food, not cheap though.

Robertos on the corner of the Hilton road does great Pizza.

The one place that sticks out in my mind is the Isaan place on Phetkasem ~100 yards before Market Village on the left (if you approach from the South).

Great place called something like Sam Tam Yok Croc, really great selection of food! Try the Larb cakes!

One of my favourite burgers is in place called Best Beans Coffee, its just after Ciccada market in one of teh newish townhouses, really cool place and very reasonable prices, lovely place to go and chill out.

The New "SHAKE CENTRE" In Market Village is On 2nd Floor next to MK - the Quality of Food is Excellent and The Shakes are absolutely superb - Service is Tremendous - Get on down there and sample the Best in Hua Hin - I did and now I keep going back for more

That doesn't sound very sales pitchy in the slightest..

Visited Shake Land yesterday, we had a Burger, Cumberland Hot Dog plus shake. Cumberland Dog is a winner a good tasty snack, Staff were really pleasant. Would definitley go back for a Dog!
