Maybe if the country had not been in such a mess for the past few years this would have been a great success. I would have bought one had I had the money 2 years ago. Laughing at people who did have one is pathetic and childish!

But does this mean that most people will loose their jobs? so say 500-1000 people will be out of work? or will they give them new jobs?

Is this being done because of the drop in tourism and just like most other company's worldwide AOT is restructuring to save money?

If it is due to drop in profits then may be the government can use the $100 billion that they have in reserves to keep people employed rather then use the money to keep the baht strong.

Do they not realise that the drop in tourism and spending from the rest of the world might be due to the fact that they are keeping the baht strong so its not such a good deal coming here anymore. Noone buying property, noone buying goods from Thailand, all expats reducing their spending. Get the baht back to 60+ to GBP and watch the spending increase again. Da!

I see that this site advertises Educational Visas to learn Thai. Well I have to learn properly somehow so does anyone know if there is a course in Huahin that offers a similar course and visa? This way I combine two requirements! Perfect - or is it?

Does anyone know if KL will renew an Non Immigrant O if I am not married? Am British, 38 yrs old, have a house being built but not finished so no house book yet. My income comes thru monthly from my company in UK and have bank account with Bangkok Bank. Need to renew before mid July. Really do not want to go back to UK to renew.

I am 38 years old and on a Multi entry B Visa and have a British passport. I am not a Working Permit holder but do have income from my company in the UK and so funds are transferred every month as my salary always over 70,000 baht.

I completed a final visa run on May 1, a day before the visa finished and am now in my last 90 days before I have to renew. I really dont want to have to go to UK to renew thus spending 50,000 baht for the privilege! Are there any other options. I keeping hearing about this 1 year extention????
