Pedestrian crossings in Thailand are nothing but a target rich environment for drivers. I use then (extremely carefully) in Pattaya occasionally for a laugh. Last time i nearly got hit by a cop on a motorbike.

There used to be a gogo bar in Pattaya with a huge fish tank that the girls would swim in.

I wonder how many tourists haver been shaken down by the BIB for being in possesion of illegal Nitrous Oxide.
-
According to the venues Facebook page its not their fault as
"They have a fight outside the Bar, about 30 metres away on the street after close the Bar"
They dont mention that it was the Longhorn Band doing the killing.

The prosecutor said the group was involved in a rebellious act in an attempt to change the law, forcibly topple the government, use force to
coerce others and gather in groups of more than 10 persons to attack others, all of which led to unrest in the country.
Im wonder why they dont impose some of those laws on the taxi/ tuk tuk mafia in Phuket.

While the police were there i wonder if they arrested anyone for selling various fake goods in the rest of Tukcom?

Australians charged with attempted murder: miss ‘mafia’ target, shoot German tourists
Phuket Gazette -
“The suspects opened up fire in the middle of a dense tourism area and injured two innocent people. They have seriously tarnished Thailand’s reputation and must face the highest penalties under the law,” Col Chiraphat said.
This most recent episode of gun violence in tourism regions of Thailand falls on the heels of British national Stephen Ashton, 22, being shot dead by a stray bullet at a New Year's Eve beach party on Koh Pha-ngan, near Koh Samui.

What about all the happy people he sold Platinum Motorbikes to in Pattaya
And all those yummy slices of pizza
Thought that was him!!! I actually met him several times. He used to live at Pattaya Bay Resort in one of the long term rooms. Pretty charismatic guy. Ive had a look for some of the ads he did for Slices and Platinum motorcycles but cant find them.
Edit - Found a video of him selling his Platinum Motorcycles on a Pattaya "News" website but as its an advert, posting the link may be a breach of forum rules. If you do a search for Platinum Motorcycles Pattaya Archive you will find it.

Well done to the security guards. One of the "alleged" thieves has some interesting marks on his face. Wonder how he came by them!!

I'm looking for info on a school in Pattaya where a Thai friend could get training in some basic IT skills. Her English is fair and she can type and send an email but thats about it. She wants to learn more. Just want to teach her more about using the internet, word, excel etc
Anyone have any suggestions?
