  1. Imm Non-OA 2007, Imm Non-RE 2011,Imm Non-IMM based on marriage May 2 2019.  On May 2,2019 I got an extension of stay based on Marriage and multiple entry. (changed because of amount of money needed in bank, married to Thai and children for 12 years) . When I renew do i have to show I have health insurance for me and my family. I have blue cross and blue shield and GHI City of New York Health insurance and have the cards you show when you go to hospital. These are big health insurance organizations and your coverage based on your plan is on-line. Actually getting a personal verification letter from them is probably impossible. DO I NEED TO SHOW IMMIGRATION MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE WHEN I GO TO RENEW MY EXTENSION OF STAY . i DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WANT. hELP NEEDED.

  2. 2 hours ago, Berkshire said:

Exactly.  Lowering interest rates will hopefully discourage foreign money coming in, which should result in the weakening of the baht over time.  I'm constantly amazed that so many expats buy into the nonsense that the Thais are "manipulating" the THB to make it stronger.  It makes no sense....if one understands anything about international finance and basic economics.

As said by Berkshire. Stops money and speculators from dumping more money by buying Baht. Should lead over time to weakening of Baht which helps Thailand. 31.50 t0 32 is great for everyone.

  3. If you have a child under 17 who is an American Citizen and you make under a certain amount of money say married under $110,000 it is larger in 2019 it does not matter where you live. There is no substantial presence test if your child is an American citizen. If she lives with you, if under 17,is a US citizen  (via Consulate Birth Certificate or born in US. she gets the credit. Its now $2000 in 2016. See IRS 8862 and also American Citizens working abroad. Im retired on pension. I get credit. Your account is wrong. Though I do not know who you work for but it is doable.

  4. If you make about $52,000 U.S. that's about 1.6 million baht that should put you in the safe zone for retirement visa and family visa (extension of stay). Single you can enjoy life, marriage with kids can get expensive but 1.6 is still a reliable income. Anything less try Cambodia. I am here 13 years. If I had to do it again in Southeast Asia it would be Vietnam or Cambodia. I can always visit Thailand  from these countries. No big hazzels with immigration, or agents, queques, traffic, air. I am here can't leave because of responsibilities to family whom I enjoy otherwise I'd be gone. It's mainly the bureaucratic experience that kills off your desire to stay. Just so annoying. An example of a nice thing to do would be Married with family after house checks (they check your residency) would not have to go to 90 days. Once a year check in would be enough and then renewal.  They could do the same with retirement. There seems to be no incentive to do this. It would cut the workload in immigration somewhat. Especially in busy places but they do nothing that makes any sense. Just reams of paperwork that go to a computer and both are saved somewhere. Just stacks on stacks of recurring paper works, redundancy, and side issues.

  5. colonoscopy. Now. Also medicine before by doctor. I had it. It is a start and getting better. 30K in Chiang Mai. Maybe cheaper other places. Doctor will a the least be able to diagnose. Finding nothing they will probably say it is irritable bowel syndrome and tell you to follow a good diet for this diagnosis .
