Now the OP has clarified his original post......

I think that is very good and fair of the OP to offer that. There are many who like a good cup of tea and would be thankful of the offer.

No need to slag the guy off.

    Nice one OP smile.png

Thank you, when i lived in Spain 25 years ago it was the norm for someone coming on holiday to bring EX- PATS, how very sad and sorry to affend people.

So what you are saying is that you can buy Yorkshire tea bags if anyone wants then and they're a good price at the moment,

Or that's what I think it means.

I buy 3 box from Tesco for £2.37 a box of 160 tea bags, its no problem to bring with me.

  6. And who can blame you? It is a bloody rip off! Mrats now want 51,000 Baht return to Newcastle in September, but the other way round it is £535. I have lauded them in the past, but at those prices they can get stuffed. China Southern it is for me...

Please stop saying (bloody rip off) to fly lhr / bkk / lhr costs more in taxes etc. than air fare, its a bargain, stop moaning go to Benidorm with Ryanair.

Happily! What is the flight number from Bangkok to the airport serving Benidorm? Thought not...

Fly China Southern you say its for you, then Ryanair to ALC. All i try to do is give advice with dates and price for first time visit, the only advice is China Southern, no dates no price,no times for first time LHR alone female. My advice to OP is a direct flight, look at travelsupermarket.com it works from los this site may help others. good luck

  9. Air India have some good deals at the moment. I've just paid £480 return for a 4 month stay. It's a bit of a wait in Delhi airport, but to save £200, I don't mind that.. Skyscanner is where I book all my flights to and fro.

If you want direct flights, they compare Thai, Eva and BA all on the one site

    Good Luck

The waiting lounges are good $20 for up to 6 hours (last time there) couple of drinks free and free food

BA 16/7 BKK/LHR 17/10 LHR/BKK 35000baht direct , and before someone says ripoff 16850 airfare 18150 TAXES FEES ETC. British Airways website at 0600hrs BST, good luck.

I've been looking at sites recently, including Skyscanner and not seen anything as cheap as that.

Maybe you are flying UK - Thailand - UK

Flights can be considerably less when the outbound flight is from the UK

British Airways are BKK-LHR-BKK for 47000baht 16/7 till 16/10. good luck

  11. I was having trouble with maintaining contact with the internet using an AIS air stick it would keep disconnecting and I would have to reboot it.

When I took the stick in to the AIS office here in Chiang Mai they took the stick which was only two months old as they had replaced the old one.

They tested it and said the stick was OK they spent time with it on their computer and returned it to me and said that the problem would be fixed in May,

Will this have any thing to do with the air stick using for the internet?

    Edit

I have not renewed it as I do have a free 3BB here where I live but it is not always working and some times it is so slow I can get a nap while waiting.

Probably it's more to do with where you live, than the aircard. From their response I'm guessing that the towers in your area are scheduled to have their equipment updated. It may well have been the ongoing work of installation and testing that caused the interruptions.

Coincidentally mine worked perfectly for months but in recent weeks has required the odd reboot and occasionally loses signal altogether for short periods... I thought it might be rain & power issues but in hindsight it's possible the tower(s) near me are also being worked on.

Thanks for your answer I really am tech challenged and was not sure of any thing other than they had tested the stick and said the problem would be solved in May.

My problem had been going on for a couple of months and it was only in the last few weeks leading up to April 25 that it got real bad 10 minutes and have to reboot it.

Now I guess I should look into getting a smart phone and see if it is dumb enough for me to understand it.

Why not invest in the recommended Asus Google Nexus 32gb 3G and buy a cheap mobile , think its the better and cheaper option.
