Another very good reason to run a line through Thailand as a holiday destination at present,as you don't know what unexpected bills your going to have to foot once you get there,also,with contract schemes' in place between hotels and hospitals,and people are being tested positive,after arriving in Thailand,that tested negative prior to departure from their country of origin,it will make travellers very wary if their going to get dodgy test results on arrival. I think it will be at least another 9 months and elimination of all these requirements/restrictions before Thailand has any meaningful surge in Tourist Arrivals.

Does the local company already have a WP for you for these short contracts?? If not,then your leaving yourself wide open to being nicked,as they would be breaking the Labour and Immigration law's,as you are not allowed to work on a Tourist Visa.

If you are working offshore in Thailand's waters whilst living here you cannot get a retirement extension,if you are working outside of Thailand,then you can get the extension.

Try a visit to the Thai Airways office at the Dusit Thani, Beach Rd Pattaya,i was in there,3 'assistants' behind desk's,onlý 1 had a customer in front of them,4 people waiting in seats to be served,and not one of them would answer a phone that rang for almost 10 minutes....T.I.T.
